Good morning and welcome to this short five minute meditation to help start your day on a positive note.
If you haven't already,
Go ahead and find a comfortable position for you and let your eyes gently close.
Start to tune into your body and the breath.
You have just a few minutes before you move on with your day.
So really allow yourself to be here.
Let's take a few deep inhales and long slow exhales together.
Breathe in fully,
Filling the belly with as much air as you can.
And then let it all go.
Again,
Big inhale,
Imagining the breath going all the way into your fingers and into your toes.
And then slowly exhale.
Last one.
Inhale deeply.
And a long slow exhale out.
Now let your breath fall into its natural rhythm.
Just watch as it moves on its own,
Supporting you.
Feel the breath as it moves through your fingers.
Feel the breath as it moves throughout your body.
Now start to think of one word or intention you'd like to make for the day ahead.
It could be focus,
Joy,
Or presence.
Just choose one word or phrase and really tune into it.
Let it sink in and fill your body just like your breath.
Good.
Keep coming back to that intention throughout the day and know that your breath is always there to support you.
Whenever you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
