Good morning,
Welcome to this practice to help you start your day on a positive note and get you ready for a wonderful day at school.
If you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes and rest your hands wherever feels good.
Let's go ahead and take three deep inhales and slow exhales together,
So empty any air out.
Now slow deep breath down into the belly and slowly exhale out of the mouth.
Again,
Long deep inhale and slowly let it out.
Last one,
Deep breath in,
Imagining oxygen moving into every inch and cell of the body and exhale,
Letting something go,
Beautiful.
Now go ahead and imagine what the most amazing day at school would look like.
Really visualize yourself in your classroom having the most wonderful day.
Notice how you would feel during school and at the end of the day if everything went well.
And now imagine a typical challenge that could arise during the school day.
Imagine how you would want to respond when those challenges happen.
Can you see yourself responding with patience,
Peace and ease?
Allow this to be your reality should challenges present themselves today.
Beautiful.
I invite you to place one hand on the heart and one hand on the belly and repeat after me either out loud or in your head.
I am grateful for the opportunity to teach.
I am resilient and can handle challenges.
I am worthy of respect.
My work is important and valuable.
I am taking care of my mental and emotional well-being.
I am a confident and effective teacher.
I have the knowledge and skills to support my students.
I create a positive and engaging learning environment.
I am peaceful and calm.
Take a moment to say anything else that will help you feel supported and ready to move into the rest of your day.
Beautiful.
Go ahead and take a deep breath in allowing those feelings of peace,
Love and gratitude to expand and fill the entire body.
Slowly exhale.
Breathing in peace and gratitude and slowly releasing anything that doesn't serve you.
Deep breath in and let it go.
Taking this feeling of calm with you,
Start to gently come back to the present moment and whenever you feel ready,
Taking as much time as you like,
Slowly and gently open your eyes.
And I am wishing you the most beautiful day.
