And today I'd like to share a simple energy awareness practice that I use regularly to bring my energy back to myself.
Throughout the day.
Our attention can be caught up.
In conversations,
Worries,
Stressful situations,
Or things that are still lingering in our minds.
This technique is designed to help you gather your energy back to your own center and release anything that is not yours.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Breathe in.
And out.
Breathing in.
And out.
Now in your mind's eye.
Imagine a large filter.
Create it in whatever way feels natural to you.
I often picture a large metal frame with a thick mesh screen,
But your image may be completely different.
Now set the intention.
This filter removes anything that is not mine from the energy that is returning to me.
Now simply allow your energy to start flowing back to you.
You don't need to force anything,
Just allow.
You may notice.
People,
Situation,
Worries or memories coming to mind,
Maybe energies returning from a difficult conversation.
A stressful drive through traffic.
An interaction that left you feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed,
Or it could be concerns about something that hasn't happened yet.
Whatever arises,
Simply notice it without judgment.
As your energy is returning,
Imagine it passing through this filter and flowing back into your field.
You might notice it.
As the energy coming back to the center of you.
Or a light around you.
However,
It's landing is perfect for you.
Trust whatever experience comes naturally and remain here for a few moments as your energy returns.
When you feel complete.
Take a deep breath and release it with a long sigh.
Notice how you feel now.
Perhaps you feel lighter,
Calmer,
More present.
Or simply more aware of yourself.
Remember,
There is no right or wrong way to experience this practice.
Whatever you notice today is enough.
