All Is Well…The Power Of Affirmations

Namaste and welcome to the Spirit Rooms daily podcast,

In the Flow with Lori Albert,

Where we discuss spirituality,

Meditate,

And allow positivity to envelop every aspect of our souls.

Who doesn't love a good,

Hit you in the face,

Dramatic,

Heart-wrenching affirmation?

Who doesn't?

So that's what we're going to do today.

Today I'm going to throw out a whole bunch of different affirmations regarding various things,

Subjects,

You know,

And we're going to,

Well,

You are going to pick one or create your own based on some of the ones that I throw out to you and we're going to meditate on it.

So it's basically very personalized,

Going to be very,

Very personalized.

Now,

The cool thing about the picking an affirmation is,

And you know what,

It became really clear to me as I was going through in my mind,

All these different affirmations I wanted to talk about today.

And I thought,

You know what,

Just because you use the word,

Let's just say love in one affirmation,

It can be in like,

It can be like all encompassing for different areas that you would like to create an affirmation for,

If that makes sense.

You know,

Just because you use the word happiness doesn't mean that it's solely about happiness.

It can be about love and joy and abundance and all of that kind of stuff.

So that's what I love about this.

Well,

You guys know,

I love affirmations.

I think that affirmations are one of the major keys to manifesting whatever you want,

Because it's about changing your mind,

Right?

It's about tweaking your thoughts.

And if you pick one of these or creating your own affirmation for today and you take it with you throughout the day and you just start saying it with you all day,

All day,

All day,

I guarantee you by the end of the day,

Or at least maybe hopefully within a couple of hours or even a few minutes,

You'll start to feel different all throughout your body.

Isn't that awesome?

I just love that.

Okay,

So we're going to start out.

Okay,

So what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you some sort of topics and then I'm going to give you some affirmations regarding those topics.

Okay.

So we're going to start out with one of my favorite things to talk about happiness and joy.

Okay,

So you could say,

I allow myself to feel pure joy today.

How simple is that?

How amazing.

Here's another one.

Happy.

Oh,

I love this one.

Happiness is my true nature.

Oh,

I mean,

I got to say that again.

Happiness is my true nature.

Right?

Oh,

Gosh,

I love it.

That's why I'm in such a great mood today.

Thinking about all these affirmations,

Right?

Okay,

Here's another one for happiness and joy.

I see joy in the birds,

Trees,

And all of nature.

Oh my gosh.

I mean,

Oh my gosh.

Right?

Okay,

So the next thing,

The next sort of subject that we get to pick from or create your own.

If something,

If like,

If I say an affirmation and it makes you think of something else,

That's great.

Grab it.

Keep it as your own.

Okay.

This one is for courage.

I have the courage to live my dreams.

Can you imagine if you said that to yourself all day long?

I have the courage to live my dreams.

How about this one?

I am bold and fearless.

Oh my God.

Seriously?

Oh,

All right.

Here's another one.

I'm serious.

I'm just like,

I am on a high from this.

I believe I can.

Take that with you all day and see what happens.

I believe I can.

And then this one is like one of my tried and true favorites of all.

Today I am possibility.

I am possibility.

Amazing.

Oh my gosh.

I hope you guys are starting to feel as uplifted as I feel because it's just amazing.

Okay.

So the next sort of category is inner peace.

Okay.

And here's an amazing one that I just think is amazing.

Obviously.

Um,

Harmony and peace surround me.

Can you imagine going into work where everybody's grumpy or whatever?

And if you say that to yourself,

Harmony and peace surround me,

That could change everything in your work environment or in your home environment.

Harmony and peace surround me.

Another one.

I feel the light of spirit within me.

I feel the light of spirit within me.

I mean,

It's amazing.

Okay.

And then here's one that's just beautiful.

With every breath I take,

I breathe in peace and light.

With every breath I take,

I breathe in peace and light.

Right?

If you need peace in your life,

There's,

There's the way to go.

Awesome.

Right.

Okay.

So the next one,

Next one.

Okay.

This next sort of category is anxiety.

Okay.

So if you're feeling anxiety or if you're going into a sort of stressful situation,

Okay.

And it's so interesting because spirit,

Like,

As soon as I was like,

Oh,

Anxiety,

Let's let me think of a couple for that.

Spirit gave this one to me right away.

I am safe.

Whoa.

Like if you go in,

If you're,

You know,

You're going into,

I'm just going to use work again as the example,

You're going into an anxiety ridden situation at work.

I am safe.

I am safe.

Can you imagine?

Next one for anxiety is I trust the process of life.

I trust the process of life.

Or how about this one?

I am exactly where I need to be.

I love that because if you think about it,

If you sort of take that with one of the other ones that I was talking about a minute ago for inner peace,

I feel the life spirit within me.

I trust the process of life.

I mean,

Oh my gosh.

That could be absolutely amazing.

Right.

Okay.

Next one,

I release anxiety and invite in pure positivity.

You know what?

This is probably how I should live my life.

I release anxiety and invite in pure positivity.

Okay.

So the next sort of topic here is motivation.

Love these.

I mean,

I could go on and on with these,

Right?

I am unstoppable.

That just gets me.

I am unstoppable.

I am strong.

I deserve to feel joy.

I love these,

Right?

I love myself deeply.

And then the last one for,

You know,

Sort of motivation.

I have the power to create change.

Let's take that to the government.

Let's take that to your bosses.

I have the power to create change.

Okay.

So next topic is self love.

Okay.

The universe has my back.

That one just goes straight to your heart,

Doesn't it?

The universe has my back.

I am worthy of my heart's desire.

Or you could just say,

I'm worthy.

Or how about today I claim my power.

If one of these hits you,

You can write it down.

You can remember it,

You know,

Today I claim my power.

I am powerful.

I attract positive energy and people into my life.

Incredible.

Incredible.

I attract positive energy and people into my life.

You know what?

It's so funny.

I'm going through all these today.

I think that's the one I am taking with me today.

I think that's like mine for me.

I attract positive energy and people into my life.

Right.

Okay.

So next sort of subject is success or abundance.

Abundance is within me.

Oh my gosh.

How about this?

Everything will work out for my highest and greatest good.

I am strong,

Focused and confident.

I'm already sitting up,

You know,

Taller.

You know,

In school,

The teachers would be like,

Sit up straight.

That's what I feel whenever I say some of these affirmations.

I am strong,

Focused and confident.

Today I let go of limiting thoughts that hold me back.

And I always expect a positive outcome.

Can you imagine saying that?

Like again,

You know,

Saying this to yourself all day long.

I always expect a positive outcome.

Incredible.

Incredible.

Okay.

And then the last category for this is gratitude.

So affirmations for gratitude.

Today I choose to be grateful for everything in my life.

I love that.

Or I am the light of gratitude for all to see.

I mean,

I love channeling these.

Next one.

My constant state of gratitude allows me to feel happiness and joy at all times.

Or you could just shorten that too.

I live in a constant state of gratitude.

Wow.

Gratitude allows me to manifest anything I choose in my life.

How fun are these,

You guys?

Seriously.

So fun.

Okay.

So then there's like one or two others that to me,

It's just overall great well-being,

Right?

All is well.

I mean,

Louise Hay said that like all the time.

All is well.

I welcome joy,

Abundance,

And peace into my life.

Now you could say that about anything.

I welcome gratitude into my life.

I welcome love into my life.

And then the last one that I want to say,

And I hope you've chosen yours,

Is I want to say,

And I hope you've chosen yours because we're going to meditate.

Today I see beauty in everything.

Today I see beauty in everything.

So,

I mean,

And there's millions and millions more,

But I wanted to throw some of these out because I want us to sit in meditation for just a few minutes and allow it to sort of percolate in our being.

So choose yours.

Okay.

And what we're going to do is let's close our eyes and I'm going to put some music on and allow yourself to start saying and repeating your affirmation over and over again to yourself.

Knowing that it is,

As we repeat it,

It is embedding itself into your being.

And sometimes it's just a wish and you may not feel it just at the beginning,

But after you repeat whatever your affirmation is to yourself,

It starts to become who you are.

All is well.

So let's start to repeat our affirmation to ourselves and for extra oomph,

Maybe place your hands over your heart to allow it into your heart.

And this affirmation that you've chosen just for yourself.

Start repeating to yourself.

And let's begin.

Okay.

Okay.

Let's start to bring our awareness back to our bodies.

Not releasing the affirmation,

But allowing it to become part of who we are.

Let's take a deep breath in,

Breathing in our own personal affirmation,

Allowing it to seep through every cell of our bodies.
