Welcome to this meditation called Moments of Sadness.
Close the eyes completely.
Imagine you are looking out a window.
It has started to rain.
The rain instantly makes you feel sad.
You notice you have a sad feeling inside as well.
Maybe deep in your heart that's been there too long.
Or sad in the mind like fog.
Or just sitting in your aura,
The world you live in.
You then go outside and announce I am already sad.
And this rain feels just the same.
Time passes by and the sad rain is now a big,
Deep pool of water that you have no choice to swim and float upon.
Then you are suddenly distracted as a beautiful single shell joins the rain pool of water.
The message here is to change all the sad rain into beautiful shells.
As time passes by,
The sad rain is replaced with thousands of such beautiful shells.
You now stand upon it and no longer struggling to keep afloat.
Every shell gives off the strength of love in all forms.
You see how strong love can make you.
As in a way the sad rain has truly been replaced with these beautiful shells.
You decide whenever you feel sad,
You will replace it with the strength of love.
Feeling strong yet full of love feels so energetic and meaningful.
So sadness should only be brief.
To honour it once,
Then let it go.
And dissolve it with time.
With that rain,
Let something better replace it.
Now just as all animals naturally wish to survive and thrive,
You too are part of this earthly magic energy.
The energy of life.
To breathe in life.
Let it light you up.
And trigger at the end of each day a treasured sleep.
Giving thanks to your physical body and your curious,
Courageous mind.
That if you want,
Can even reach as far as the stars.
A creator of the gifts that you were born with.
And being unique.
We are all unique.
Please keep growing with life.
Seek its adventure and rewards.
Lastly,
Gather your strength with all forms of love.
Now open your eyes and breathe in life.
