We are going to do a very simple practice that I love very much.
It's a very simple practice but very profound.
I feel it's one of the most beautiful gifts you can give to yourself.
We are going to embrace ourself.
We are going to hug ourself.
You can do it physically or you can hug yourself inwardly as you feel.
I love to do it physically because I love to feel my arms hugging me.
It's a very warm feeling.
I love that feeling.
Do it also having an inner attitude of embracing yourself as you feel.
So I invite you to close your eyes.
Take a deep breath and just allow your body to relax in the chair.
Or if you are lying down in your bed,
Just allow your body to fully relax.
Feel the breath moving in you without any effort.
And each time you exhale,
Allow your body to fully relax.
With this conscious breathing you are helping your body to just drop any tension,
Any effort.
And very gently you can start hugging yourself.
Feel your breath,
Be conscious of your body and be fully present in this embrace.
You are giving yourself this hug not because you did something good.
It's not a prize because you achieved something.
You are embracing yourself because you are,
Because you exist.
You are embracing yourself as this presence that is just here.
And I encourage you to fully realize that you are receiving this hug from life because you are worthy of love.
Just as you are.
Just where you are.
This hug is an invitation to say yes to life.
To be open to receive and to be open to give.
To just fully enjoy the beauty of this moment.
To receive the blessing of your open heart.
Fully feel while you are enjoying this embrace that you deserve to receive it.
You deserve this love,
This warmth,
This self acceptance.
Simply because you are alive.
Simply because you exist.
Because you are.
And if any feeling comes up that's perfect as it is,
Let it express it as it comes.
There is no problem with that.
Fully allow any feeling.
You are here to just accepting,
Loving and understanding yourself unconditionally.
Breath deeply and allow yourself to really enjoy this blessing.
The blessing of your own presence.
The blessing of your open heart.
To be able to truly love others,
First you need to have a genuine understanding,
Love and acceptance to your own self.
Like this will be easy to accept the others,
Love the others,
Understand the others.
And if you feel that you need to receive something in particular in this moment,
You have inside the power to do it,
The power to give it to you.
Give yourself whatever you need through this embrace.
Peace,
Joy,
Acceptance or just love and kindness.
You have the power to give it to you.
Because it's something that you already have inside you.
I invite you to feel this moment,
This embrace as a very intimate and sacred moment with yourself.
Fully enjoy it.
Enjoy this embrace as many times as you feel because this hug is never too much.
Every time you feel it,
Give yourself this beautiful gift,
The beautiful gift of your open heart and love.
And then share with the others if you feel too,
This love,
This acceptance and kindness you discovered within yourself.
