This walking meditation guides listeners across frosted fields at first light, using breath and sensory awareness to settle the body. Cold air at the nostrils, the crunch of grass underfoot and birdsong are used as anchors to the present moment. Gentle imagery invites a felt sense of connection with nature as the day brightens and the earth warms. The track closes with a simple prayerful intention, leaving listeners grounded, grateful and ready to step into the day.

Good morning and welcome to today's walking meditation where I want to take you on a journey across frosted fields.

Take a moment to breathe deeply into your body.

Feel the cold air hit the back of your nostrils as it moves back down through your throat into your lungs.

Make another lung full of deep fresh cool air.

Feel the oxygen reach deep into your body.

As you're walking you can feel the crisp crisp grass that's coated with frozen water crunching and breaking underfoot and leaving slight indents where your footprints have been.

You notice nature has left its imprints to you with leaves and other beautiful debris jewels memories nature's breadcrumb trail that decorates momentarily and then in time will fade decompose and melt back into the earth and become part of the great cosmic oneness again ready to be restructured,

Re-atomized,

Repurposed,

Replenished reissued,

Reinvigorated replenished with life force and turned into its next great iteration of the cosmic design.

As you walk you notice that the sky is lightening around you it's early morning the sun is not yet up but you can see the light creeping up far ahead there are frosted fields that are covered with blankets,

Thin blankets,

More like sheets more like muslin sheets,

Fine muslin sheets of frost and steam that are gently moving and rising as the earth warms slightly as it falls out of its slumber as it gently tosses as it gently rolls itself out of its sleep and thinks about waking itself for the day fast now the light seems to be coming there's more movement there's more there's more excitement you can feel the energy escalating you can feel a communal reverberation of anticipation for the day you walk across the stream you can hear the burn bubbling in the water it hasn't stopped all night but it seems to be somehow more energized and that the light's hitting it birds are chirping stretching their larynx,

Stretching their lungs,

Breathing in deeply just like you talking to their friends,

Chatting about the day making a plan of action and you keep walking you keep feeling the crunch on the foot you look back and see the last lights twinkling in the village before they switch off for the day and let the sun and the sky do its work they're no longer needed the electric lights,

The man-made lights,

The the faux hearth burners are no longer needed to guide us because nature's nature's guide,

The sun,

Is shedding light on the day for a while at least we'll have the light of the sun to warm up the earth,

To melt the frost in the distance you can see car lights twinkling people are on their way to work now many souls gathered in their cars and their vans moving towards that thing we call real life,

The doing but right now,

Just for now,

You're focused on the being you may,

You may too have lots to do further into the day but right now all you have to do is be be present,

Be connected be centered notice all the noises around you,

Notice the shapes as the trees silhouetted against the brightened sky notice the different notes in the bird chorus notice the sound of your feet crunching the crunch is lessening now as the earth warms enjoy this peaceful time that you have right now before the busyness of the day sets in breathe deeply,

Fill your lungs with that fresh deep oxygenated air let it do its magic let it reinvigorate your body breathe in,

Breathe in the divine creator exhale love take in nature exhale love breathe in gratitude exhale love take a moment to refocus your mind bring yourself back raise your eyes up look around,

What can you see?

You see the sun can you see the sun?

Can you see the shades in the sky?

The many,

Many,

Many shades can you see the shadows?

Can you see the light behind the shadows?

And breathe,

Breathe into the day take a moment to thank yourself take a moment to appreciate yourself take a moment to acknowledge yourself for being present for taking this time for making this space in your life to walk in nature to connect with the earth to connect with the cosmic oneness that is part of us that we are part of take a moment to thank yourself for filling yourself up with goodness before you go out into the day into the world that sometimes forgets i'd like to take a moment to end this meditation with a prayer that is dear to me dear god where will you have me go?

What will you have me do?

What will you have me say?

And to whom?

Amen and so it is
