Hello there,
Space explorer.
My name is Lee Anderson and this is a gentle,
Dreamy kids meditation called Star Explorer on the Beach,
Suitable for bedtime or rest time or any creative daydreaming.
It's a peaceful space adventure from the edge of the sea to the stars above.
So,
You're going on a special adventure.
Not in a rocket ship,
But right here,
Just lying still with your eyes closed.
Are you ready to begin?
Take a deep,
Slow breath in and let it out like a soft whoosh.
Breathe in like you're filling up your space suit with air.
And breathe out like you're releasing stardust.
And now imagine you're lying on a quiet beach.
The ground beneath you is cool and smooth and,
You know,
Maybe it's sand or maybe it's even made up of little pebbles or soft stones.
You're wearing your space suit,
Snug and cosy,
And your helmet is keeping you safe.
You can hear the gentle sound of the waves nearby,
Splish,
Splash,
And it's like the ocean is breathing with you.
And the sun is only just beginning to go down,
So the stars are beginning to twinkle.
The earth below is holding you like the safest space blanket ever.
And you look up through the screen of your helmet and the sky is full of stars.
One of them shines brighter than the other.
It twinkles and it winks at you.
You smile.
That bright star sends down a beam of gentle light.
It touches your heart and fills you with warm,
Sparkling energy.
And now you feel light,
Like you're floating.
Suddenly,
You drift up,
Up into the sky,
Slowly and gently,
And the beach stays behind and the stars move closer.
You're floating in space,
But you're not afraid.
You feel calm,
Peaceful and free.
You pass by a cloud made of dreams.
You pass a moon that hums a lullaby.
And you see stars forming shapes.
Some look like whales,
Some look like trees,
And there's even one that looks like your pet.
Then you hear a quiet voice in your heart and it says,
You are part of the stars.
You are part of the earth.
You are never alone.
And you smile inside your helmet.
You feel safe,
Loved and magical.
Now it's time to return to your beach.
So gently,
Slowly,
You float back down through the sky.
Back to the soft stones and pebbles.
Back to the sound of the waves.
Feel your body resting,
Still and peaceful.
You are back on earth,
But the stars are still with you,
Inside your heart.
Wriggle your fingers,
Wriggle your toes,
And maybe give your body a little stretch inside your spacesuit.
Then when you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
Or you can stay resting and keep dreaming.
It's your stony beach,
They're your stars.
And your space heart will always be there when you need them.
