
Full Moon For Healing

The full moon invites you into a gentle and blissful meditative space to pay a kind curiosity within. What is hidden deep within your skin and causing you pain or stagnation? Let it come up and pay attention to it so you can see it for whatever it is, exactly as it is. Offer these energies love and kindness and then let them leave. If they are no longer serving you, then let the powers of this full moon cosmic moment draw them up and out. Release them and be lighter, free, and ready to shine.

Hello,
My name is Lee Anderson and I'm very grateful that you've chosen to be here and spend this time with me as I guide you through a full moon meditation.
Of course this meditation can be done at any time whether you're choosing to really embody the energies and the essence of a full moon or you are just looking for some peace and quiet within and allowing yourself time to listen from within and maybe discover what there is that you're carrying or what might be burdening you and asking it to let go,
To release.
So thank you very much.
Please allow yourself to be comfortable whether you're sitting cross-legged on the floor or in a chair or you want to lay back,
Do so and then ask,
Can I be any more comfortable?
And if you can,
Please allow that whether it be more cushions,
Whether it be to make a little movement and reposition or a blanket for more warmth,
That in itself is practising self-kindness,
Self-care and it's a really beautiful way to begin to honour yourself for the practice of meditation.
And I invite you to really gently close your eyes and take a really sweet full breath in and a long gradual exhale and perhaps another full breath in.
Gently let that air fill you,
Become you and then the breath just swirls and twirls,
Continues to expand and fill you and then gently let the breath leave and it'll carry away any toxins,
Any residues,
Maybe some stale old air it'll find there.
Breathe it out and let it go and really enjoy that feeling of being lighter,
Already carrying less.
So you might wish on your next inhale to sweep your arms up into the air,
It can be in front of you or above you and as you exhale just let your hands just sort of cascade either over you or out down by your sides,
Maybe even imagining water droplets like a waterfall,
Just flowing,
Calming and rinsing any stress from your body.
If it felt good do it again.
Beautiful just enjoying the smooth graceful movement and starting to feel your body shift into all the qualities and benefits of relaxation and peace.
Just allow your breath to then fall into your own natural rhythm as you continue to settle into a space of calm stillness and your hands and arms can just rest by your sides or on your knees and maybe your palms are facing up and your fingers are lightly curling.
Just notice how that inspires a receptive,
Open gesture,
Attitude as you begin to welcome in the beautiful calming and restorative energies of the full moon.
As you breathe in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth,
Just gently extend the length of your out breath because you emphasise that exhalation,
It will help draw around any impurities,
Let go and release any energy blockages.
As your body breathes all on its own you can notice your inhalation,
How smooth,
How graceful,
How sacred it is.
Really invite it in,
Welcome it in,
Let it fill your lungs,
Your chest,
Your heart,
Your belly and right down to the base of your spine,
Within your pelvis and just let it disperse gently,
Tingly through your whole body.
Notice your whole body full of your sacred breath and the breath turns around and releases and as you exhale imagine any impurities flowing out,
They all just leave your body and vanish,
Just dissipate into nothing,
Letting go,
Releasing any tension,
Anything you're holding onto,
It's not here in this present moment.
So as you breathe out,
Let it go,
Well done.
As you continue this meditation you can allow the imagination to invite in the flowing breath,
Just noticing that feeling of the breath in your body and that just relieving feeling of the release,
Such a great feeling of being lighter,
Less tied down,
Less bogged down,
Less stuck,
Just get those energies just gently and slowly moving,
Breathing them out and you can even imagine a white light of lunar energy beaming down on you from our glorious magical full moon.
You can imagine it filling your body,
Breathing in all the moon's energies and releasing,
Maybe you can imagine a little bit of grey,
A little bit of black or darkness mixing in there with that light as it leaves and it's just taking away any impurities,
Any blockages,
Any old ways.
So as you gently breathe,
Noticing the breath and perhaps anything else that comes into your awareness from within.
Maybe it's a physical feeling of tension or stiffness or pain,
That is an energy blockage.
So just go there,
Just pay that area a kind and careful attention,
Offering the breath,
Offering a sense of soothing,
A sense of comfort,
Love and then just notice if that tension or tightness,
If it moves or if it changes but know it's okay if it doesn't.
Might not be ready yet,
Just allow yourself to sit with that sensation,
Paying attention,
With a really loving curiosity,
A genuine enquiry and just noticing whatever it is,
Exactly as it is,
It may reveal,
It may be asking for love,
Attention,
Maybe it's asking for forgiveness,
Just listening,
Just noticing and breathing,
Gently letting your energies flow in,
Beautiful full moon energy,
Just sort of filters and explores and wonders and just offers whatever it is you're needing in this moment.
And if your mind wanders or you start getting a little bit caught up in a story or an idea or some other agenda or to-do list,
Just notice that that's happened and just gently guide your attention back to the flowing breath and the sensations of the breath,
Just inviting in that awareness,
Breathing in that beautiful purifying full moonlight,
Gently breathing out maybe a grey light,
Letting go and releasing anything that's not serving you.
Could be emotions,
Could be memories or could even be beliefs that once did serve you but now they are only holding you back,
Holding you back from moving forwards,
Moving on or even achieving your goals.
There's no need to be self-critical,
There's no need to make any judgements or assessments,
Just breathing gently and kindly so you can channel your energy all the right way,
Using it creatively and just allowing an enlightening experience in meditation.
Every breath in fills you with this pristine glorious light,
With love.
Feel it,
Breathe it,
Let it be within you and then whenever you exhale just let it carry all the negative energies,
Just carries them out and they just vanish,
Leaving you open,
Maybe feeling a little bit empty,
That's all okay.
Just noticing that empty space,
That beautiful clean,
Clear space for you to start rebuilding the new you.
Be kind to yourself,
Allow yourself just to watch all these inner happenings and as best you can not getting too involved in their stories or their emotions,
Just remaining the observer,
Just watching them pass.
Beautiful.
Breathing in,
Really visualising that moon's energy beaming down,
Just gently tingling all over your skin.
Breathe it in,
Calm it,
Gently exhaling,
Letting go,
Releasing tension,
Releasing stress,
Just letting go.
Beautiful,
Welcoming in the beauty,
This endless amazing,
Always providing universe.
There's no need to resist,
There's no need to force,
Just let it flow to you all in good time.
Breathing in this wonderful cleansing power of the full moon,
Gently exhaling all the old insecurities,
All the old negative patterns and that exhale,
It's long and slow to really draw out,
Empty out all the old obstacles.
See them entirely out of your body,
Out of your being.
There's nothing left behind.
Your body is being cleansed as it is bathed by these blissful,
Cosmic,
Powerful energies of the full moon.
Really inviting a deep inhale now.
Breathe in and reclaim your power.
As you pause,
Let it filter through your lungs,
Into your blood,
All throughout your body.
All throughout your bones,
Your cells and just imagine it tapping up on the inside of your skin.
It flows all through your heart,
Your eyes and your mind.
Just notice it,
Feel it.
It is totally absorbing you and empowering you all at once.
And I invite you now to just listen gently,
Listen with your whole body.
Listen to the messages with confidence and make a dedication with which to infuse your life with.
Take all the aspirations of this meditation practice into your being,
Into your life.
Blissfully infused with these wonderful,
Soothing powers of the full moon.
Listening,
Feeling with all senses,
Taste,
Smell,
Hearing,
Continuing to absorb anything else that is on offer from our limitless universe.
Let it soak,
Soak into your entire being.
Just a few more gentle breaths,
Knowing that you can always come back here whenever you need or whenever you're curious.
We'll just gently allow this meditation now to just gently come to a close without changing your natural breathing rhythm.
Just notice it,
Continue to allow all your new energies to settle in.
You may wish to bring both your hands up and place them over your chest and heart and feel your new energy.
Keep it gathered close to you.
It is yours to offer to the next moment and all future moments.
Beautiful.
Ever so gently blink open your eyes,
Make very small,
Slight movements,
Maybe wriggles,
Maybe stretches,
Really gentle.
Welcome back.
