By guidance of voice, ambient tones and soundscapes, here unfolds a journey that will assist in relaxing your physical body so the boundless imagination can afterward bring us to a higher state in an almost literal sense. We will travel upwards, towards and through the clouds, to a place of deep rest that reminds us we are travellers without borders.
Transcript
The following journey will take place using the power of our minds,
Of our internal imagination.
Wherever you find yourself listening,
Make sure that it is a place where you can allow yourself to totally surrender to the sounds provided,
Which will guide you to a higher level,
One that will take you all the way up above the clouds,
Away from the planes of the earth.
Allow yourself to be swept away by the guidance of my voice and the guidance of the tones.
Now we will shortly be taking off,
Please make sure all of your devices are without signal as to not disturb your journey.
Close your eyes and find the resting state within your system by now connecting to the element of air.
This element we cannot see,
We can only experience by awareness,
Detected by the touch of its temperature on your skin,
The way that it feels when it glides into your nostrils as you breathe in,
And the experience of it when it leaves your nose or your mouth.
It gives you life,
It connects to plane of nature and humans and surrounds us at all times.
From here we move our awareness throughout our body to release tensions that we might hold onto consciously or unconsciously into the ground below.
In this way our mind will be free to flow to the above.
We start by placing our awareness on our toes,
The soles of our feet,
The ankles,
Release the shins,
The calves,
The knees.
Let go.
Let go into gravity.
Bring the awareness to the upper legs,
The sides,
The insides and the back.
Our butt cheeks and our hips,
A place where we often hold tension.
Release.
Elbow,
Lower back,
Lower belly,
Belly button,
Upper belly,
Give in to gravity.
Let go into the earth below.
Upper belly,
Chest,
Nipples in the space underneath our armpits,
The tops of our shoulders,
Upper arms,
The insides of our upper arms,
The elbows to the very tips,
Lower arms,
Inside and out.
Elbows,
Wrists,
Let go.
Lips of hands,
The thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
The pinky to the very insides of our palms,
To the very center.
Let go.
Slowly moving the awareness back up to the shoulders,
To the back,
To the back of the body,
The collarbones,
The front,
The sides and the back.
Up to where the neck connects to the skull,
Towards the underside of the jaw and releasing any and all tensions here.
Bring our inner gaze towards the ears and the space behind them to the front,
The temples,
Cheekbones to lips,
Teeth to tongue,
Upwards to the nose,
The nostril,
The space between our eyes,
Eyelids and eyelashes.
Relax.
Eyes dropping to a state of no doing,
Eyebrows,
Forehead to crown,
Covering from here the skin of the entire skull,
Releasing any and all tension.
Release your being to where your body touches the space below.
Let gravity take you,
Carry you,
Hold you.
From here we move into our imagination and the endless possibilities that it gives us.
Our bodies resting and with our mind we will take a trip upwards,
Slowly releasing gravity and letting go of the physical space that we inhabit.
We start ascending.
We float up towards the same sky that holds the clouds and the starry sky,
The sun and the moon.
Floating up even further,
We come into the space above buildings,
Above man-made lights and man-made things.
Ascending a little bit higher.
The air is fresh up here,
Oxygenating,
Refreshing and infusing you with the notion that anything is possible.
As you feel the surrounding air touching your skin,
You rise higher,
You float up further.
A deck of white clouds is approaching above you,
Coming closer and closer.
As you come close enough,
We start floating through the mist of the cloud.
For a few moments there is nothing to experience but the watery air of the dense cloud.
Floating further up,
Gentle and steady,
You move through the top of the cloud in the 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
The mist proceeds and you experience the open sky.
The floating gently comes to a halt just above the white cloud underneath us.
Observe the feeling of being here,
Looking around.
The peace and the quietude is one so fast and you are part of it all.
From here you are invited to take a stroll over this cloud,
One foot in front of the other.
The cloud is supporting you,
Cushioning each and every step.
Moving closer to a space in the cloud that is perfect for you to settle yourself into.
Feeling and settling yourself down on your cloud,
You feel at ease and you feel at home.
Nestling in the comfort of your cloud in this ultimate state of rest,
There is nothing for you to do,
Nowhere for you to be,
But in this comfort,
In this state of calm.
The world below will keep turning.
The sun will interchange with the moon,
Day in,
Night out,
Just like it has done for thousands upon thousands of years and as it will,
Thousands upon thousands of years to come.
Looking up at the infinity of the sky,
You may remember that you too are part of this creation,
Of the world below and the sky above.
And if this carries infinite potential,
Then so do you.
From here,
The cloud on which you have been resting will slowly allow you to float back towards the earth in whichever pace you so desire.
Descending gently into the mist that is the cloud.
Ten,
In five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Floating down and out from underneath the cloud.
Slowly,
Steadily,
The descent continues.
We see the dots of lights that make up our cities,
Our roads and our lives.
Moving closer and closer towards the earth,
Inviting gravity to cradle your return.
Moving back towards this space and into the room.
And with your consciousness,
Slowly drift down.
Back into your body.
Remember,
The place that you just visited was inside of you all along.
Good night.
