This prayer is a simple yet powerful tool for moments when self-doubt feels heavy and begins to block your creative energy.
Surrender is often the most direct path through creative blocks.
Today we're inviting God to lift the weight of perfectionism from our hearts.
We'll offer our self-doubt to Him and ask that it be replaced with joy,
Ease,
And the freedom of playful,
Natural creativity.
After each line of the prayer,
Take a breath.
Imagine the weight and resistance leaving your body.
Feel the lightness move in,
Creating space for fresh,
Expansive,
And inspired ideas.
Dear God,
I offer up my hesitation.
Please help me to be bold,
To explore new ways of doing things.
Help me to trust myself and the ideas that come through me.
Dear God,
I offer up my self-doubt.
Help me to see the beauty in my uniqueness.
Remind me that there is no one else like me,
That my perspective matters,
And that it is valuable.
Dear God,
I offer up my self-criticism.
Help me to be gentle and kind with myself as I learn and grow.
Help me to stay with it,
To not give up too soon,
And to believe deeply in the dreams placed on my heart.
Dear God,
I offer up my scattered mind.
Help me to come back to this present moment,
To take aligned action on what I truly value,
And to release the pull of what doesn't matter.
Dear God,
Please give me a light-hearted spirit.
Remind me how to be playful and childlike in my creativity.
Please help me to be more like you,
Trusting,
Flowing,
Moving with confidence and ease.
Please move in me,
Through me,
And all around me.
