Welcome to our guided sleep meditation.
I will lead you to a restful night during the following minutes.
Let's begin preparing your body and mind for it.
Take a moment to write down everything to remember for the following days,
And only include the activities or duties that you consider could get in the way of a good night sleep.
I recommend you to use keywords to make it easier.
We only want to make sure you can let them go,
A reminder is already in place.
Feel free to pause the meditation to give you enough time,
I'll wait for you here.
Now lay down as comfortably as you can,
Allow your head,
Neck,
Back,
Arms and legs to find a nice,
Cozy position.
Start breathing slowly,
Deeply,
Taking in more air than usual,
Finding an amount that works for you,
And also exhale taking even more time.
Let's do it together once,
And then continue with a cadence that feels natural.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Try to keep the rhythm that works for you throughout the meditation.
As air rich in oxygen is entering your body,
Imagine it as a blue light that is going to relax your mind,
Body and soul.
In your next breaths,
See how that blue light goes to the top of your head and remains there moving slowly,
Gently,
As a soft balm that will renew your entire body.
The light is going through your thoughts,
Beliefs and plans,
Blessing every intention you hold.
In this moment,
The light is relaxing your forehead,
Temples,
Scalp and continues with your eyes,
Cheeks,
Mouth,
Tongue and jaw.
Feel this gentle release of tension and how it keeps moving down.
Massaging your neck,
Shoulders,
Chest,
Arms and belly,
Take a moment to allow it to go through your palms and fingers.
Your back is next.
The light will go very gently through every part of it,
Slowly on each vertebra until reaching your hips.
Finally,
Your upper legs,
Knees,
Calves and feet.
Keep breathing slowly,
Deeply.
Scan your body to ensure everything feels lighter,
Better.
If you find any part still tense,
Contract the muscle for a couple of seconds and release.
Be gentle.
You can do this two or three times and feel how much better it gets.
Now,
With the power of your mind,
Imagine your bed inside a log cabin,
A warm cozy place.
The temperature is perfect because the walls and floor maintain a perfect balance.
This is a place where you come to interact with nature,
Your sanctuary.
The shelter where your mind finds peace and quiet.
This forest has all the things your soul craves.
There is a beautiful lake.
The land is soft and you love walking it with bare feet,
Grounding yourself,
Connecting with mother earth.
It's night time and your bed is so comfortable.
Your pillow is like a fluffy cloud.
Feel how nice it all is.
How soft your bedsheets are.
The mattress is the perfect combination between firm and soft.
It supports your body and you can barely feel it.
We are now focusing on all the nature surrounding us and we can barely hear anything because plants and animals alike are sharing a well deserved rest,
Just as we do too.
We can feel how a gentle breeze goes through the trees and all birds are in their nests warming up,
Resting.
There is a window in the ceiling showing you the clear starry sky.
You can even see some of the planets.
And the stars twinkle slowly as if they were synced with your heartbeats.
If we were close enough I'm sure they would sound like a lullaby while their light dims and brightens.
Keep gazing at the sky,
Feeling more and more relaxed.
All the celestial bodies are here to give you peaceful atmosphere,
A calm environment so you can bask into sleep.
Your breaths are calmer,
Your body is resting,
Your mind feels at ease.
Allow your body to continue relaxing and your eyes to rest.
All is well.
This peaceful moment was prepared for you.
Sweet dreams.
