Snippets of Wisdom Decision-Making Process How do you make decisions?
How do you feel about the decisions you make?
Do you feel sure and confident in your decision-making skills?
Do you feel unsure and doubtful,
Scared of making a mistake when you make decisions?
What do you really want?
Why do you want that particular thing?
It really doesn't matter what we want.
No two individuals will choose exactly the same thing.
And because we are eternal beings,
We can never get it done.
There are always new choices and new decisions to make.
The best part of that knowing is that we'll never get it wrong.
Again,
Because we can always make a new decision.
We only want something because we believe it will feel good to have it.
We want what we want for the pleasure of it,
For the joy of it,
For the love of it,
The feel-good of it.
If thinking about something you want feels good,
That's a great reason to decide to move forward.
I wrote the following about making decisions in my journal.
Our decision-making process must be based on how we want to feel.
If our priority is to feel good and re-reach that good-feeling state,
Life unfolds beautifully.
Decisions made by our logical,
Thinking mind may not work out because we have weighed the pros and cons.
When making a decision based on pros and cons,
We will allow some of the cons to follow and mess up the decision.
We will be carrying some of that resistance into our decision.
So making a decision by how it feels is more reliable.
Our inner beings are always calling us to feel good.
If a decision doesn't feel good,
That's a hell no.
If we feel uncertain about a decision,
That simply indicates that we're not yet in alignment with our inner being.
Get into alignment,
Feel good first,
Then make the decision.
That will be the best decision to make.
Another good thing about making decisions is that it summons life force through us.
That's why we often feel a rush of relief when we finally make that decision.
That's the life force flowing through us.
Since we really can't get it wrong because we can always make a new decision,
Let's make more decisions and allow life force to flow.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
