The world is a big, beautiful place filled with wondrous things. As we share this quiet moment, I want children to know that they are part of that wondrous beauty. Just like the brightest star in the night sky, or a radiant sunbeam peeking through the clouds, they bring light to the world in your very own special way. Enjoy before bedtime, or anytime your child need's a boost of confidence. Music credit: https://pixabay.com/users/daddy_s_music-22836301/

Hello there my friend,

I'm so happy to spend time with you today.

I want you to find a comfortable spot,

Somewhere you feel snug and happy.

It could be your favorite chair,

Or perhaps you'd like to be nestled cozily under your blanket.

Maybe you're even ready for bed.

Are you settled in?

Wonderful.

Okay,

Let's start by taking a deep breath in,

Hold it for a moment,

And then let it out.

Let's do that one more time.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it,

And let it out.

Just like a gentle sigh carried away by the wind.

You know,

The world is a big beautiful place filled with wondrous things.

As we share this quiet moment,

I want you to know that you are part of that wondrous beauty.

Just like the brightest star in the night sky,

Or a radiant sunbeam peeking through the clouds,

You bring light to the world in your very own special way.

I want you to imagine something for a moment.

Close your eyes,

And imagine there's a little seed.

Can you picture it?

The seed is not too big,

And it's not too small.

It's just right,

Like you.

Now this seed is something truly magical.

It is the seed of all the amazing things that you can be,

All the special things that you can do.

Every day it grows a little bit more,

Nurtured by your curiosity and kindness,

Your courage,

And your dreams.

Do you feel that warmth in your heart right now?

That is your own special light.

It's like a soft,

Comforting glow,

Wrapping you up like a loving hug.

That is the same love you have inside you.

It's always there,

Even when things seem a little dark or scary.

Even in those moments,

Your light,

Your warmth,

Is there.

It's strong,

It's resilient,

And it is yours forever.

Every person you meet,

Every friend you make,

They feel that warmth from you,

Just like a cozy fire on a cold day.

They see that light,

That very special light,

That's all yours.

It's a light that tells them,

Here's a friend,

Here is someone with a kind heart.

And just like that seed we talked about,

Your heart has room to grow.

To grow in kindness,

To grow in courage,

In wonder,

In dreams.

Oh,

And that's a beautiful thing,

My friend.

Because no matter how much it grows,

No matter how much it changes,

It's still wonderfully,

Perfectly you.

I want you to remember that every day is a new chance,

A new opportunity to shine your light and warm someone's day.

And each day,

As that little seed inside you grows,

Remember that you are growing too.

You're becoming a little bit braver,

A little bit kinder,

A little bit more wonderful.

Though it's hard to imagine you being any more wonderful than you already are.

So my friend,

When you lay down to sleep tonight,

Remember this.

You are a part of this beautiful,

Wondrous world.

You are loved.

You are safe.

And you are filled with a potential as limitless as the number of stars in the sky.

Your light is unique.

Your warmth is comforting.

And the seed within you is ready to grow into something truly spectacular.

As we finish this peaceful moment together,

Let's take another breath.

Are you ready?

Breathe in.

Hold it for just a moment.

And let it out.

And remember,

You're not too small.

You're not too big.

You are just right.

You always were,

And you always will be.

Thank you for being you,

My young friend.
