It's time to get comfortable and listen to our story. Find yourself a cozy spot and snuggle up with a fluffy pillow or a warm blanket. Relax your whole body now and let any difficulties of the day just leave you. Let your muscles relax and let out all the playing you did today. Let all of your thoughts leave your mind for a few minutes and just let yourself relax. Take a deep breath and feel the air fill up your entire body. It goes into your lungs and down into your belly and as you breathe out let your belly deflate feeling yourself relax even deeper. Breathe in again now letting that air go all the way down into your toes and exhale slowly letting any last bit of tension just leave you. Now just close your eyes if you haven't already and listen to my story. Imagine that you're climbing up the stairs to go into your attic. You've been told that the attic is full of marvelous treasures and you just have to see for yourself. You slowly make your way up all the wooden stairs steadying yourself with the handrail. When you reach the top you twist the shiny golden doorknob and push open the old creaky wooden door. When your eyes adjust to the dim atmosphere you see that you're surrounded by items covered in sheets boxes and trunks. The sunlight shines through a gap in the curtains illuminating the glittery dust scattered throughout. The dust tickles your nose but you keep going you cannot wait to see what awesome wonders you can discover. You start in the corner nearest the window you giggle as you rummage through a chest full of all kinds of old hats. There's an old brown leather cowboy hat. It is wrinkled and a little stained from hard work on the brim but you know it has seen some amazing adventures. There's a little pink hat with tiny purple flowers on the side. You're quite certain that someone wore it once to a fancy church or special Sunday dinner. You continue your treasure hunting moving past a big yellow sun hat and a tattered old baseball cap. You move aside a fuzzy green boa scarf. When something sparkly catches your eye. At the very bottom of the trunk there's a small box with no lid. As you lift up the box you find that it's lined with the softest purple silk and there's a glittery jeweled tiara inside. You gently lift the tiara from the box and place it on your head being careful to make sure that it's secure. You wouldn't want it to fall and be damaged. You walk slowly towards a tall mirror that's resting against the wall in the corner. You wipe some of the dust away with a rag you find on the floor and look back at your reflection. You look stunning in your bejeweled bedazzled crown. The sparkles on the tiara accentuate the sparkles of happiness in your eyes and the glow of your big smile. You feel like a princess a very blessed princess with a fantastic treasure. You can't stay in the attic all day but you know you'll be back for more exploring soon. What fun! You return to the trunk and prepare to place the tiara back into the box. You wish you could keep it and wear it and feel that special every day. Before you put it away you notice that there's a small folded piece of paper inside the box. You take it out and read it. The note says the glorious crown shows beauty but it does not make the wearer beautiful. Instead the jewels within this tiara simply reflect the beauty that the wearer already possesses inside. You make this crown more special when you gift it with your inner beauty. You feel so special that the tiara shone so brightly when you wore it. You are assured that your inner beauty is visible with or without the crown and you know that you are exactly what you're meant to be. You're safe, You're happy and you're loved. This knowledge gives you the peace and the energy to smile all day and face the world easily knowing that everything always works out in the end. You stand up and stretch before heading back downstairs to carry on with your day. Bring your attention now back to this place and open your eyes when you're ready. Give your body a big stretch.
