OMBITE's seven-minute meditation.
And the subject of this meditation is opening up to possibility.
Opening up to possibility.
So first,
We come into union with where we are emotionally,
Physically,
Meeting ourselves where we are so that we may springboard forward into the great realms of possibility.
Come to your comfortable seat.
Press down and lift your heart high.
Take a big belly breath in and a long and easeful breath out.
Maybe you have something gnawing at you,
Ruminating,
Tossing around in your mind,
In your life,
In your world.
Let's meet that energy where it is.
Identify it,
Name it,
And tame it.
Becoming crystal clear on what it is you're feeling and experiencing.
Much like asking for directions.
How can we get directions to where we're headed unless we know where we are?
Meet yourself where you are.
Drop into your bones,
Lift your heart high,
Take a big belly breath in and a long and soothing breath out.
Get raw,
Get honest,
Get naked with yourself.
Where am I right now?
Who am I right now?
What is my experience right now?
And you'll know when you've met yourself where you are because a deep calm comes over you.
Release.
A release of having to maintain a personality.
And then we breathe in and fill up with all that we need and release all that does not serve the future of your possibility.
Release it now.
This is an ongoing practice available to us multiple times throughout the day with every inhale and every exhale tuning in.
As you devote time and attention to possibility in your life.
And now that you've found union with where you are,
Clear the slate,
Gaze outward.
And now that you've found stillness and quietude,
Gaze outward,
Drop into your bones,
Connecting to your deep,
Calm swell of a sea that lives within you.
Aware of the turbulence on the surface,
Aware of the weather patterns,
The waves that are choppy on the surface.
At the same time,
Tapping deeply down into the calm,
Still cool waters that lie within you.
Resting your eyes,
Let them fall heavily to their sides.
Expand in your heart space,
Your physical space,
Open the chest wide,
Drop your shoulders,
Shine and lift high.
And release into security and grounding,
Exhale.
And again,
Taking a big belly breath in,
Push your body out,
Expand,
Get large and release,
Exhale.
And let this physical expansion represent what's happening in your mind.
Expanding what you see,
Expanding what you can conceive of,
Expanding possibility.
If you sit in quietude and connect to the inner,
Deeper,
Wiser voice guiding you,
Lighting your way,
You can trust this to move you forward with ease and grace.
Press down,
Breathe in,
Lift and fill up and soften,
Exhale,
Comforting,
Surrendering.
Let this physical expansion represent what you see,
Expanding what you can conceive of,
