Let's start by just settling into what's beneath you.
Feeling yourself sink into the cushion or the chair.
And if it feels safe and right to do so,
Go ahead and close down your eyes or just stay here with me.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Letting it all settle.
And in this moment,
Just start to feel into your body.
Notice your breath.
And let yourself arrive.
For the next few moments,
Your only job is to be here.
Not to fix anything.
Not to figure anything out.
Not to plan or worry or produce.
Just to be.
Feel that breath moving in and rushing out.
Don't try to change it.
Just notice it.
What does it feel like to breathe?
And start to notice the space between the breath.
That small pause between the inhale and the exhale.
That's the space where being lives.
In the pause.
In the stillness.
In the simple act of existing without needing to do anything about it.
And if your mind is starting to create to-do lists or planning your next activity,
It's okay.
Just notice it.
And gently return to the breath.
Return to being.
Right here.
Right now.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
You don't have to earn this moment.
You don't have to be more productive to deserve this peace.
You belong here.
Exactly as you are.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
And just rest in the knowing that you are enough.
Exactly as you are.
Right now.
One more deep breath in.
And let it go.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and gently flutter your eyes open.
Take in the space around you.
And enter back,
Connected and calm.
As you go forward this week,
Continue to find those many moments of pause,
The space between.
And continue to give yourself the gift of just being.
Of being present to it all and celebrating that art of being without needing to do.
We'll end as we began with a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Let it all settle.
Now,
Go take care of yourself.
And I will see you next week.
