Let's get in a comfortable position.
Feet on the floor,
Hands comfortably resting and close your eyes.
This is a meditation for grounding.
Let's start out by breathing a few deep breaths very slowly.
Inhale and exhale.
And let's do a few of these.
Nice and slow.
Let's begin by calling all of our energy back.
Throughout the day we get scattered and parts of us get fragmented.
So let's call this energy back to our being right now.
Imagine a beautiful sunburst going in reverse with you being at the core,
At the center.
Breathe in all of your parts that were fragmented off.
See them coming home into your being.
When you feel that all of your parts have come back into your core,
Notice your feet.
Notice the floor that your feet are gently resting on.
Just feel your shoes or if you're barefooted,
Just notice the floor under your feet.
Do your feet feel heavy?
Just notice.
And relax.
Remember to keep breathing.
Let's move up to our ankles and relax the ankles.
Our calves moving up the legs.
Just noticing how relaxed the muscles feel soft.
Everything feels very present and relaxed.
Then we stop at our knees.
These knees do so much work.
We are grateful for the support that they give us.
We're flexible and strong.
We stop here and just say thank you.
We then move up and over our thighs,
Just noticing,
Letting all the tension go.
Feeling the heaviness on the seats where we're sitting.
We notice our hips that also support us.
Then we come to our seat and our bottom that is resting on our seat.
And we breathe.
We feel so supported and stable and relaxed.
We then move further up the body and travel over our belly and our lower back,
Moving upward,
Noticing our breast area and our chest.
This is where our heart resides.
We are again so grateful for all of our parts,
Especially our heart,
Keeps us alive.
We tune into this area and just notice.
How does it feel?
Maybe is there a color that you're noticing?
Is it open,
Closed?
We're just noticing.
We then are going to move further,
Traveling up to our shoulders and notice them soften and relax.
Tension gone.
We move first to our right arm and notice our muscles and skin soften as we venture down the arm to our wrist,
Hand and fingertips.
Feeling the heaviness,
The whole arm feels so relaxed.
We then sit on the left shoulder and do the same.
We travel down over our bicep and tricep and elbow,
Our wrist,
A hand and now the fingers,
Noticing how heavy both arms are.
Still breathing.
We now notice our throat moving further up the body,
Our center of voice,
Creativity and boundaries,
All of this in our throat.
We feel relaxed here too.
We continue to travel up our head,
Noticing the ears,
The nose and our eyes and the top of the head.
Everything feels so relaxed and we take a deep breath.
We feel very present and actually we feel full,
Fully present.
After another deep breath,
We travel down again and bring our attention to the bottom of our feet.
In becoming aware of the bottom of our feet,
We invite the energy centers there in the center of the bottom of the feet.
We invite them to activate.
We don't even need to know what this means,
But our intention and our request is for these centers to activate.
From these centers,
We imagine roots coming from the bottom of our feet and traveling into the earth,
Down deep into the center of the earth.
Watch the roots travel from your feet to the center of the earth.
Notice if you can feel the energy.
It's fine if you can't.
You're doing everything perfectly.
Take a deep breath.
Once we travel into the deep core of the earth,
We're able to wrap our roots into the deep core,
Into the center of the earth.
It looks like a beautiful core of light.
Our roots easily attach here and we have the feeling we are deeply rooted and attached to the earth.
We are held in this space.
We feel the energy of the core of the earth run up our roots into the soles of our feet and travel up our legs and back down.
We notice a movement of energy coming up from the earth through our legs and our bottom and back down to the earth,
Right through the soles of our feet.
We are feeling now the sensation of the energy.
Perhaps there's a temperature or a pulsing feeling or tingling or nothing.
All of it is okay.
Just notice the energy coming up and down through your legs.
You may feel it,
Feel or notice a pulling sensation.
This is okay.
We feel present as again,
We are fully here,
Grounded and fully conscious.
Invite the energy of mother earth to come up above your waist into the rest of your body,
Your torso,
Your chest,
Your arms and your head.
Feel the energy of the earth fully come through your entire being.
Let us ask the energy to remove anything that is blocking us and our emotional,
Mental,
Spiritual or physical bodies.
Help us to heal and give this energy,
Our mother earth energy permission to heal.
Give thanks and gratitude for her blessings and take a breath.
When you are ready,
Let's bring our attention back into the room.
Notice the chair you're sitting in,
Noticing your arms and your legs and your feet.
You're here fully.
And open your eyes when you're ready.
