Welcome,

And thank you for listening again to another story.

I hope you've had a great day.

Before we get into the story,

I'd like to share something with you that I think is very important.

When I used to be around your age,

I always loved to reflect on my day.

To look back on what happened.

And before I went to sleep,

I would always imagine what I would do differently today.

And now,

Many years later,

I have realized the importance of something like this.

The importance of reflecting back on the day.

Because usually,

When someone around us asks us how our day has been,

We say things like good,

Or nice.

But that's not actually how the day has been.

Because throughout today,

You have felt many different emotions,

You have had many different thoughts,

Feelings,

You've done things,

Maybe you have taken actions you regretted,

Or maybe you've taken actions that you were actually very proud of.

And I'd like to ask you today one simple question to answer before going to bed.

And you could even answer it tomorrow as well,

And the day after.

And don't worry,

It's not a very deep question.

I'm not going to make you tell me your secrets.

It's just a question to provoke within you the drive to look back on the day,

And to share in more detail how your day has actually been.

Are you ready for the question?

Here it comes.

What is something that you have learned today that you think a grown-up does not know yet?

And it's okay if you don't have an answer to that question.

In my opinion,

I just think it's a very fun question.

It's a good question for your mom,

Your dad,

Or any caretaker to ask you sometimes.

And now I'm asking it to you.

What is something that you learned today that you think a grown-up does not know yet?

And as a grown-up,

You can take me as an example.

You can take mom or dad or your caretaker as an example.

Think about it.

Is there anything in school or anything in the playground or in the supermarket that you learned that you think,

Hmm,

Maybe,

Just maybe,

Someone who's older than me does not know this yet?

And again,

It's completely okay if you don't have an answer to this question right now.

Because tomorrow,

There's another day,

And maybe tomorrow you'll learn something.

What I do would like to invite you to do is to think back on today and really think about the things that you did and the things that you possibly could have learned.

In my opinion,

This process of ending your day by looking back upon your day is a very good thing to do.

And the way in which we're doing this together is very light and very easy.

So whenever you're ready,

Go and lay comfortably and just listen to my voice.

And I'm sharing with you another story of Gracie.

Enjoy.

Mommy,

What did you want to be when you were my age?

I wanted to be a singing rabbit,

Spending every day on the forest stage.

But also,

I dreamed of riding,

Creating art,

Or flying in a plane.

I even went so far as being a connoisseur of champagne.

Gracie had to giggle and mommy had to laugh.

Had I become a famous singer,

You would have gotten my autograph.

Why didn't you become a singer or create works of art?

Because that was never a dream that truly came from the heart.

All of the rabbits in my school thought being a famous singer would be cool.

Having the same dream as them made me popular and it helped me fit in.

It was only later on that I realized what a mistake that had been.

A mistake?

How so?

Weren't you just trying to discover your passion?

Yes,

Gracie,

But you don't do that by chasing the latest fashion.

Your passion and your purpose are what you decide them to be.

And the only one who can do that is you,

Don't you agree?

So mommy,

Actually you always wanted what others thought you had to do,

Never realizing that when doing that,

You're actually not being you.

Yes,

My sweet Gracie,

When you let others decide your future for you,

It is difficult to find a future that is exciting through and through.

Speaking of wanting to be,

There's something else you should never forget.

You don't have to be anything other than you are today,

Is what mama rabbit said.

Gracie experienced a moment of silence,

For what her mother said wasn't fully clear.

Gracie,

You just have to be yourself,

Right now,

Right here.

Those words entered Gracie's bunny's ears in a different way.

It was as if she was tingled by the fresh blow of air on a beautiful hot summer day.

A loving feeling arose over Gracie's fur.

It was the feeling of love that was what these goosebumps were.

Gracie,

You can be a cook,

And I will love you.

You can be a dancer,

And I will love you.

You can be a thief and a liar,

And I will love you.

And you can even not love me at all,

Yet still,

I will love you.

Right now,

You are not any of those,

Yet.

And that you're still my little baby rabbit is easy for me to forget.

There's no need to worry about your future,

Because all that exists is the present.

And when we can feel love and happiness,

That means this moment is well spent.

Mama rabbit grabbed Gracie's paws in hers and said right there and then,

I have said it before and I will say it again.

Whoever you decide to be,

Or whatever you decide to do,

I will always love you.

I hope you enjoyed that little story of Gracie.

And my question to you is,

Do you already know what it is that you want to be?

Because the whole point of this story was to show you that whatever you want to do with your life is up to you.

There's nobody else,

Not even a friend,

Not even a family member,

Not even a neighbor,

Who can tell you what you have to do,

Because that's your choice.

And now the little secret is,

That there is nothing else that you need to do.

There's nothing else that you need to be,

Other than yourself.

And that brings us to another question,

Which is,

Who are you?

And that is a very difficult one.

Even I myself,

Still today,

I'm trying to figure out the answer to that question.

But maybe you have an answer to it.

And to round off this day,

I would love it if you could give this audio a 5-star rating on the app.

And please let me know in the feedback your answer to the question,

What is something that you learned today that you think I don't know yet?

I would love to see your answers,

And I'm going to respond to all of them.

Thank you very much for listening,

Good night.
