So let's talk about boredom.

You know,

That dull,

Restless itch where nothing feels interesting enough.

And we rush to fill it with scrolling or snacking or refreshing anything to avoid that pause,

That awkward silence.

But what if boredom isn't a problem?

What if it's an invitation?

Let's explore it.

Let's take a slow breath in and let it out.

You might notice the urge to do something.

That's cool,

That's okay.

Just notice it.

See if you can feel where it lives in your body.

Maybe some fidgeting,

A buzz of restlessness.

Instead of fixing it,

Breathe into it.

We're just giving it space.

We're letting it be here.

You know,

Sometimes boredom is simply the quiet before something new is born.

But it needs patience.

It needs you to stay.

As Thomas Edison once said,

Restlessness is discontent.

And discontent is the first necessity of progress.

Boredom can be the spark that leads you somewhere new,

If you're willing to sit with it.

So today,

When boredom comes a-knockin',

You can meet it with a breath.

And let that be enough.

Thanks so much for joining me.
