Hello Sweet Soul,
Welcome to this special meditation practice called Around the World,
A meditation adventure for kids.
Today we'll take a journey to explore all the things in the world that we can be thankful for.
First,
Let's find a comfortable cozy place you can either sit or lie down.
Make it a place where you can relax and just be cozy.
Once you're there,
Let's begin to focus on our breath.
Do you notice it?
Take a deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
Notice how that breath makes your body feel.
Take a big breath in and a big breath out.
One more time,
Sweet Soul.
Take a deep breath in,
A little bit more.
Yeah,
Let it go.
Now in your mind,
Imagine that you're standing in a beautiful meadow.
It's filled with tall grass and very colorful flowers.
You can feel the warm sun on your skin and you can hear the birds singing in the trees.
Now let's imagine that we're going on a journey around the world to explore all the things that we can be thankful for.
We will travel to different places and see all the wonderful things the world has to offer.
First,
Let's travel to the beach.
Imagine that you're standing on the soft sand.
You can feel the sand in your toes and you can hear the waves crashing against the shore.
You take a big breath in.
You feel the salty air in your lungs and you say thank you for the ocean,
Which is so vast and beautiful.
Now let's travel to the mountains.
Imagine that you're standing on a tall peak.
You can see the world stretching out before you.
Take a deep breath in,
Feel the crisp mountain air in your lungs.
Say thank you to the mountains,
Which are so majestic and awe-inspiring.
Next,
Let's travel to the desert.
Imagine that you're standing in the sand.
You can see the sand dunes stretching out before you.
You take a deep breath in.
You feel the warm desert air as it enters your lungs and you say thank you for the desert,
Which is so wild and free.
Now let's travel to the jungle.
Imagine that you're standing in the lush rainforest and you can hear the sounds of the animals all around you.
Take a deep breath in and feel the humid jungle air in your lungs.
Say thank you to the jungle,
Which is so vibrant and full of life.
Let's travel back to our meadow where we began.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling the warm sun on your skin again.
Say thank you for a world which is so big and wonderful and for all the things that we can be thankful for.
Taking your time,
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Coming back into this present moment.
Remember that you can always go on a journey of thankfulness whenever you want to explore all the wonderful things in the world.
