Hello and welcome.

I'm Jessica Kirshner and you are listening to a mindful modern living guided meditation.

Today we're going to explore a transformative journey through the spinning wheels of energy within your body.

These spinning wheels are called your chakras.

Let's first begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

You may sit in a chair and allow your back to be straight,

But not too stiff,

With both feet on the ground.

Or perhaps you'd like to lay down on a firm bed or mat,

Legs stretched out and uncrossed,

Arms at your side or gently in your lap,

Palms facing up if that's comfortable,

Closing your eyes if you wish,

Turning your attention to the fact that you are breathing,

Sensing the in-breath and the out-breath that's happening right now.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through your nose,

Exhaling through your mouth.

Allow your body to relax and release any tension.

As we begin,

Let's briefly explore the concept of chakras.

There are seven main chakras that run along your spine.

These energy sensors represent different facets of your well-being,

Influencing your physical,

Emotional and mental states.

Each chakra corresponds with specific qualities,

Emotions and characteristics.

As we embark on this guided meditation,

Envision each chakra as a vibrant spinning wheel of energy.

Start by bringing your attention to the base of your spine,

To the root chakra.

Visualize a vibrant red energy glowing at this point.

With each breath,

Imagine this red light expanding and grounding you in the present moment.

Feel a sense of stability and security.

Move your focus to the area just below your navel,

To the sacral chakra.

Imagine a warm orange light radiating this area.

Breathe into this space,

Allowing the orange energy to flow freely.

Connect with your creativity,

Your sexuality and your emotional well-being.

Shift your attention to the solar plexus above your navel.

Picture a bright yellow light shining from this area.

Inhale deeply,

Letting this yellow energy empower your sense of self and personal strength.

Move to your heart center,

To the heart chakra.

Located at the center of your chest,

Visualize a green light expanding with each breath.

Feel love and compassion flowing through you,

Connecting you with yourself and others on a deeper level.

Now shift your focus to the throat,

To your throat chakra.

Picture a calming blue light radiating from this area.

Inhale,

Allowing the blue energy to open up channels of communication and self-expression.

Feel the freedom to speak your truth.

Now shift your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,

To your third eye chakra.

Envision an indigo light shining brightly.

With each inhale,

Connect with your intuition and inner wisdom.

Trust your inner guidance.

Finally,

Bring your attention to the crown of your head,

The crown chakra.

Visualize a pure violet light expanding and connecting you to the universe.

Breathe in this divine energy,

Fostering a sense of spiritual connection and higher consciousness.

As you focus on each chakra,

Visualize them aligning and harmonizing,

Creating a balanced flow of energy.

Feel the transformative impact on your higher self-awareness.

Embrace the interconnectedness of your physical,

Emotional,

Mental,

And spiritual aspects.

When you're ready,

Start to gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Carry the sense of balance and self-love you've cultivated into your daily life.

Remember,

Just like the wheels of energy within you,

Your journey towards self-love is an ongoing,

Evolving process.

Embrace it with openness,

And may your self-appreciation continue to bloom.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and carry this balanced energy with you throughout your day.
