Hi,
I'm Miriam Amavi and I invite you to find a comfortable place where you can settle down and start to focus on your breathing.
Maybe take a deep breath in and let everything go and maybe your body wants to do a few movements to really settle into this place where you are right now.
And now you can put your arms around your body and just hold yourself here for a moment.
Turn your awareness inwards,
Maybe you like to bow your head towards your heart.
Feel into what is here right now.
What is living beneath the surface.
If there is something there within you that is reaching out its trembling hand to be held.
Maybe there is some feeling,
Some sensation that desperately needs some warmth.
And see if you can just be with it for a moment.
If you can't,
Hold it.
Just sitting beside all this hurt.
Beside the pain.
Invited in into your center.
And holding all of you.
Maybe you sway from side to side.
Rocking all these feelings within you.
Holding all of you,
All the shame,
All embarrassment.
And all that you don't like about yourself.
All that feels not enough.
All that you want to run from.
And maybe from here you can see that all these feelings and facets want to be nurtured and held just like you do.
How they do not want to ruin your life.
How they want to give you messages that you need to understand.
And know that you are doing so well,
Dear one.
Because it is human to feel like this.
And you are allowed to feel all that you are feeling.
It does not mean that you are doing anything wrong.
It just means you are a human navigating a human life.
And see if you can offer all these parts within you,
All the feelings,
All the emotions,
The places within you that are hurting.
See if you can offer them some sweet talk.
Speaking to them.
I am here.
And seeing what happens if you tell them this.
I see you.
I hear you.
I love you.
Maybe.
All these parts within you,
These feelings,
These opinions soften a little bit.
Maybe it feels like a deep release that finally they get to hear what they have always longed for.
Or they may be a resistance.
And that is okay.
A resistance needs to be loved.
Needs to be softened with warmth and gentleness.
Which takes time.
So now you can offer this prayer to yourself,
To all of the facets within you.
Let it sink into your pores and steep within it and let it be written onto your soul.
May my thoughts only know the language of sweetness.
May I be held by the gentlest arms and gifted blooms that defy the passage of time.
May every atom of my body be filled with the warmth of love.
Be kissed by my lover.
May my tears taste as sweet as honey and bring wisdom to my eyes.
May my fears be sung endless lullabies.
And may everything I gaze upon become golden.
May I be the proof that angels exist.
And see if there are any sweet words you want to offer to your being,
To this complete and wonderful human that you are.
Human that you are.
And then you can slowly deepen your breath.
Move your hands and toes.
Open your eyes and look around in your space.
And welcome back.
