Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
In this meditation we will generate positive energy from within.
We'll begin by coming into a comfortable position,
Finding your seat or low down.
Making sure that the back is lengthened and straight.
Begin to tune into your body and allow the eyes to gently close.
Feel present in this moment.
Feel the space that you are taking up.
Begin to notice your body.
Notice from the soles of your feet and begin to work your way up.
Working through the legs,
The torso,
Down each one of your arms,
To the top of the chest and working your way up all the way to the crown.
Take notice of how everything feels today,
Striking no judgement but solely observation.
Now we tune into the breath and when you're ready take a deep inhale through the nose,
Pause at the top and when you're ready gently let it all go from the mouth.
When you're ready again taking another deep cleansing breath,
A deep inhale through the nose,
Pause at the top and release from the mouth.
Consciously push out all of the air from the body.
Once more as we inhale think of all the things that don't serve you in this moment and as we exhale we're going to release everything.
When you're ready inhale,
Pause and exhale.
Now allow the breath to return to its natural cycle,
Observe the natural rise and fall of the body.
Bringing the hands to the heart space,
Inhale love into the body and repeating after me out loud or to yourself,
I am inner.
Take a moment to ponder on whatever is going on in your life right now.
Wherever you're at just observe,
Observe the feelings and thoughts that arise,
Observe without judgement.
Once again taking a nice deep inhale and as we exhale repeat the mantra,
I am enough.
Now take your awareness to the top of your head,
The crown and extend that awareness up above you visualising a light above your head.
This might be golden or white light or even a liquid light coming down from above beaming into your head.
Visualise this light beaming into your body,
Coming through your head,
Down through your neck and shoulders.
Allow the light to come into both arms,
The hands,
Filling the whole of your torso.
Feel the light coming down to your hips,
Flowing down through your legs and into your feet.
Become aware of your body as a source of light and start to awaken the sensation of lightness throughout your whole body.
You glow,
You are filled with light,
Love and positive energy.
Once again taking a nice deep inhale,
Repeat the mantra as we exhale,
I am enough.
Now bringing your awareness through to the centre of you,
Start to visualise another light source.
Allow this light from the centre of yourself to pulsate,
Feel it grow as you charge the light source with your own energy,
You charge it with your beauty,
Your greatness.
Feel this inner light begin to spread from within and work its way into each corner of your body,
Through your arms,
Down your legs,
Through your torso and out of your crown.
See your whole body as a source of radiant glowing light.
And now extend this light around you to form a protective aura.
This light surrounds your whole body like a cocoon of protective glowing light.
Using the mantra once again,
Taking a nice deep inhale and as you exhale,
I am enough.
If there is anything still not serving you in this present moment,
Visualise whatever it is leaving your body as a gray smoke.
Let it float away with the breeze,
It does not belong with you in this moment.
See everything as being in a constant state of flow and change.
What may have served you once may not still be serving you in this moment,
So appreciate and let it go.
Things come in and out of life like the waves of a beach,
They wash in and wash away gently.
This is appreciating and embracing the constant flow and change of life.
Now allow yourself to sit in your cocoon of light,
No judgement is allowed here,
Just allow yourself to be with whatever arises.
For the final time of this practice,
Take a nice deep inhale and as we exhale repeat the mantra I am enough.
Begin to become aware again of the natural rise and fall of the body as you inhale and exhale.
Feel your whole physical body in this space,
Feel the space you are taking up in this moment.
If you are ever feeling depleted of energy in the future or you are sensing negative energy from others,
Visualise this glowing aura or cocoon of light that surrounds you and protects you.
This light comes from within and nobody can take that away from you.
When you are ready gently start to bring subtle movement back into the body,
Moving the fingers and the toes.
Gently stretching the neck and the arms.
During your time and when you are ready open the eyes and gently come back to the room.
