Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
This meditation is designed to be used in moments of angst,
Stress,
Panic,
Or just times where we need to remember to slow down and to take a moment just for ourselves.
So I invite you to stop what you're doing,
Take a pause,
Take a break and separate yourself from the situation you are currently facing no matter what that may be.
Together we will take a moment to find your center and realign your focus.
Wherever you may be bring your attention to your body and I invite you to find stillness.
Gently raise the spine and straighten the back.
Find strength and growth through the length of your spine,
Gently opening out your shoulders and releasing your heart space.
Now bringing your attention to the breath,
Find peace.
Allow your breath to slow down and with me take a deep inhale through the nose,
Hold for three seconds and allow the breath to run from the mouth.
Together again,
Deeply in through the nose,
Hold for three and let the breath run from the mouth.
For the final time really find expanse with this breath as you inhale through the nose,
Hold for three,
Two,
One and let it all go.
Just gently allow the breath to regulate,
Allow it to slow.
No force,
No pressure,
Just gentle inhale and exhale through the nose.
Now bringing attention to your mind,
Find peace.
Notice the quietness,
The process of realigning our focus,
Bringing calm to the mind.
Any thoughts that may come in can just flutter away,
No attention needs to be taken,
Just quiet in the mind.
Allow our being to slow down,
Feel the heart rate become gentle,
To become slow,
The body to become more at peace.
If you feel called to do so,

Taking the hands over the heart space,
Give thanks to us for our strength,
Our courage,
Our ability to overcome anything which may feel overwhelming.
We have the power within to find peace,
To find quiet from a place of strength.
Allow this feeling of calm to radiate through your body,
Taking it back to the situation that brought you here in the first place.
Allow yourself to look at it again with a clear mind,
A clear heart and a calm aura.
