Welcome to your 3-minute reset.

Begin by rolling the shoulders up to the ears,

Taking a deep breath in.

As you breathe out,

Gently release the shoulders down the back and allow the eyes to soften or close.

Place one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly.

Gently begin to connect,

Connecting with this sensation,

Allowing this sensation to be whatever it is.

Perhaps it's your heart beating,

Perhaps it's your body breathing,

Perhaps you gently become aware of simply having your hands touching your body.

What do you notice?

Now see if you can gently manipulate the breath so that you breathe in into the hand that is on your belly and then maybe even feel a little bit of an expanse into the hand that is over the heart.

As you exhale,

Gently drive the hand on the belly in and feel the hand on the heart gently soften.

Do this one more time,

Breathing into the belly,

Big deep breath,

Filling belly and then rims and then feeling the heart open and then as you breathe out gently bringing the belly in,

Allowing the ribs to collapse a little,

Allowing the heart to soften.

Switch your hands.

What do you notice?

What do you feel?

Perhaps you're allowing the breath to simply be as it is.

Take one more big deep breath into the hands,

Into the belly,

Into the heart and then this time slowly,

Slowly,

Slowly release the breath.

One more deep breath in,

Belly,

Ribs,

Top of lungs and then a gentle slow,

Slow,

Slow,

Slow,

Slow breath out.

When you're ready,

Allow the hands to fall back onto the lap and then open the eyes.

That was your three-minute reset.
