This is a short introduction to the practice of Yoga Nidra. Often called "the path from the wakeful world into the world of sleep", Yoga Nidra is a deeply meditative and yet creative practice. It can help with insomnia symptoms, anxiety, stress and help improve focus as well as overall wellbeing. It can help relax your nervous system and guide you into a state of deep and healing sleep. Although Yoga Nidra is being studied for its positive effect on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, it is not recommended to use the practice as a replacement for therapy or medical care.
