Hello,

Hello,

And welcome to another story from the book Poppy's Magical Animal Adventures.

It's a calming story to relax,

To get cozy for bedtime,

Or just laying down and really just be still for a moment.

Shall we try?

Let's get cozy and lay down and get comfortable.

Maybe you want to close your eyes,

And maybe you want to place one hand on your belly and the other hand on your chest.

And you can feel how the air is moving through your body when you breathe in and out.

Let's take one breath together.

Let's breathe in and out.

Let's do this again with our noses.

Let's breathe in and out.

Did you feel your hands moving?

Today,

Poppy is meeting two hummingbirds out in the wilderness.

Poppy is walking through the plains and she's surrounded by mountains.

She looks around and is in awe of how beautiful it is.

Two hummingbirds are looking at Poppy.

Come join us,

One of them says,

And learn our secrets.

The hummingbirds chase each other through the air,

Stopping and hovering in one spot.

Wings fluttering.

Poppy watches with her tongue out,

Fascinated.

We hummingbirds only choose the good in life.

We take the best nectar from the flowers for our food.

We only want the cleanest air and water to make us strong.

We choose the best for our bodies and our hearts and our minds.

If you want to be strong like us,

Then be mindful of what you're eating,

Drinking,

Thinking,

Feeling,

And how you're using your time.

Think of something you love and live your life from that good feeling.

You're sparking the joy within you.

That's how you create a beautiful life.

Thank you,

Hummingbirds.

With your advice in mind,

I can be strong in all situations.

Poppy responds as she waves goodbye.

The hummingbirds showed Poppy how to choose the good in life and how that creates a good feeling and makes us strong from inside.

When we eat well,

Drink well,

Have good,

Happy thoughts and feelings,

It will spark the joy within us.

Poppy is walking back to her parents that are waiting at the tent.

She looks around and sees beautiful mountains surrounding her.

The sun is shining and it's getting warm.

Poppy keeps thinking about what the hummingbirds told her.

To choose the good in life.

Because when you choose the good,

It will make you feel strong from inside.

Let's take one breath together.

In and out.

Let your body feel calm and cozy like a warm,

Soft cloud as you drift into peaceful,

Happy dreams.

I hope you enjoyed the inspiration from the hummingbirds and that you can take it into your dreams and fly with the hummingbirds.

Poppy says night night,

Woof woof,

Sweet dreams.
