Welcome to another calming sleep story for kids and their parents,

A magical bedtime adventure and children meditation from the book Poppy's Magical Animal Adventures,

Written and illustrated by Tatiana Ploys.

Hi there.

This is the third story where Poppy meets a spider.

And what will the spider teach Poppy?

It's about building a web of life.

Poppy learns from the spider how to build a strong web of life.

That protects you.

Okay,

Let's get started.

Let's take one deep breath in.

Through the nose.

And out.

Through the mouth.

Let's do that one more time together.

Let's breathe in.

And out.

And out.

You can stretch your arms,

Your legs.

You can wiggle your fingers and wake up your little toes.

You can draw little circles with your ankles and with your wrists.

And now that we are cozy and a little relaxed,

We begin the Poppy story.

And Poppy keeps walking and comes across a little water stream.

She notices a sparkling light.

Oh,

It looks like a rainbow.

I want to see where it comes from.

Poppy follows the rainbow sparkle and finds a spider web spun across two trees.

The sun shines on it and makes it look so colorful.

Poppy looks in awe.

Wow,

What a beautiful spot.

Hello there,

Says the smiling spider.

Poppy asks,

How do you build your web in the right way so that it protects you?

The spider answers,

Everyone's web will look different.

Trust your own inner voice and follow the talents that you have.

That is how you build a strong web of life.

I spin my web knowing that it catches the food that I eat.

It lets me know when the weather changes because it starts shaking when the wind gets stronger and I can feel the raindrops on it.

My web even tells me about possible dangers.

Remember,

You are a precious being full of gifts.

You came into this world to use those gifts and enjoy this wonderful,

Magical life.

Poppy wags her tail.

I will try my best.

Thank you,

Spider.

You have taught me so much about creating a good life.

This is the end of the spider story.

The spider wishes you sweet dreams,

Calm and cozy feelings around your heart.

The spider waves to Poppy.

Bye,

Thank you for listening to me.

Poppy nods with a smile.

Now I know how to build a strong web of life.

Bye-bye.

Now that our body feels calm and cozy like a warm,

Soft cloud,

As you drift into peaceful,

Happy dreams,

I hope you enjoyed the wisdom of the spider and that you can take it into your dreams.

Poppy says night-night,

Woof-woof,

Sweet dreams.
