Welcome to your anxiety-free cleaning motivation visualization.
We're going to begin by getting comfortable.
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever feels good to you,
Right now.
And once you get comfortable,
You can go ahead and close your eyes.
And we're going to start by taking a deep breath in and out.
And in and out.
And one more big breath in and out.
This meditation is going to help you get the motivation to clean,
As well as wash away any stress you may feel about cleaning.
Cleaning can be stressful when it's not done,
And it may even be stressful to think about finding the time to do it.
However,
We all know that everything feels so good when it's clean.
And everything looks so much better when it's clean.
When we're sitting or working or even sleeping in a space that's clean,
It can make all the difference.
When things are clean in our home,
Our cars,
Or maybe even our offices,
That's one last thing that our brain has to worry about.
When things are in disarray and unappealing to our eyes,
The brain focuses on that.
When we have clean spaces,
We can focus on other things in our lives that may be more pressing and important.
So we're going to now start the visualization.
I want you to begin by visualizing you standing in your home or by your car or whatever it is that you're trying to motivate yourself to clean right now.
First I want you to think of a good time to do this cleaning.
Maybe it's later today.
Maybe it's tomorrow.
Maybe you know that you're not going to have time until next week.
Whatever it is,
Just imagine that date or time and putting it in your mental calendar.
And that's when we're going to start this visualization.
Now I want you to think about the supplies that you're going to need to do this cleaning.
And I want you to picture that now version of you going and getting those supplies.
And now that you have everything that you need,
You're ready to conquer the area that you want to clean.
It's okay if we're cleaning multiple areas.
You can visualize cleaning whatever you need.
I want you to just continue this visualization and just imagine yourself cleaning everything that you need to clean.
And just picture yourself going over all of the areas in your mind and how that looks and what kind of ground and space you're covering.
While you're doing that,
I want you to think about how good this area is going to look when you're done.
How good it's going to feel when you have this area cleaned.
How much more you'll be able to think or focus on other things besides this space since it won't be messy and in disarray.
We're going to just sit here for another moment while you continue to visualize yourself cleaning.
Okay,
Now that you've cleaned the area,
I want you to really look at how good it looks.
I want you to feel how good it feels to not only have completed a task that you've been meaning to get to,
But also to be in a cleaner,
More appealing space.
Think about everything that you can now focus on or think about now that you don't have to think about cleaning the space and you don't have to worry about how dirty it is and you wish that you could get to it because it's been done.
I want you to feel that good feeling all over your body.
Almost think of it as like a ball of energy and imagine that ball of energy filling your whole face and your head and moving down through your neck,
Then down your chest and both your arms and down through your stomach and then over both of your hips and then finally down both of your legs all the way down to your feet.
Now that good feeling of accomplishing what you wanted to accomplish and the happiness of how clean everything is,
It's filling your whole body and it's such a good feeling,
Such a good positive feeling.
Let's just sit in that feeling for a moment.

You can go ahead and open your eyes.
I hope you feel like you have more motivation to clean as well as less anxiety of how and when that's going to happen for you.
