Lie down onto your back and we'll begin this healing distance reiki session with you just tuning in to the sensations of your body.
As you lay back,
Take a deep,
Full,
Soft breath in,
Out through your mouth and just let yourself drop in completely.
Know that distant healing will reach you no matter where in the world you are.
Have faith in it,
Even if it's just for now.
Let go of your rational mind and remind yourself that when you pick up your cellular device,
You can reach someone on the other side of the world by just punching in some numbers.
And if you're anything like me,
I couldn't really give you the exact explanation to how that's possible,
But I trust it.
And that's the level of trust I want you to bring to this distant reiki healing now.
This practice is specifically for removing negativity.
Reiki is intelligent energy and it knows where to go.
And the light of reiki shines in and just dispels and dissolves anything negative,
Any negative vibrations and frequencies in the form of emotions or thoughts.
Even physically,
Things that have manifested in your body can be reversed by reiki.
So for now,
Relax into the mat beneath you.
It's time to let go of anything that's distracting you from being present right here right now and focus on each breath that enters into your lungs.
Envision this revitalized energy coming in and mingling with your cellular body,
With your energetic body,
With your auric field.
Each breath in fills you up and each breath that departs your body,
That leaves your body,
Carries with it bits of negativity,
Stagnant energy,
Anything that's ready to be released from your body,
Mind and spirit,
Breathing in,
Visualizing this stream of light perhaps coming in through the nostrils,
But also in through the crown of your head.
And as it flows in,
Filling up from the inside out with this luminescent light,
This bright healing light that comes in and renews your entire being.
And as you breathe out,
Just letting go of anything negative,
Anything stagnant,
Anything that no longer serves you,
Just letting it go.
We are going to go now on a visual journey,
So employ your imagination.
I want you to imagine that you are standing at the foot of a beautiful,
Majestic mountain now.
Beneath your feet,
Feel the rich soil and all around you noticing these tall,
Beautiful,
Evergreen trees just stretching up into the cosmos.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Your nose picks up the scent of pine,
The aroma of the woods.
And as you breathe,
You feel cleansed with each breath that you take.
And before you is a footpath,
And it weaves its way through the woods and all the way up to the summit above.
And you begin to take your first few steps here in the direction of the summit.
As you walk,
Feel vital energy flowing through you.
Your body is engaged,
Your mind is focused,
And your breath begins to deepen as you take your journey.
You admire the qualities that you observe in the nature around you,
This natural landscape full of resilience and strength,
Adaptability.
And as you notice these qualities in the forest around you,
You begin to realize that they reflect what's also inside of you.
You are resilience,
You are strength,
You are adaptability.
And as you continue to hike towards the peak of this mountain,
You feel this truth permeating deeper and deeper inside of you.
And hours turn to minutes,
And soon you find yourself at the peak.
As you arrive,
Your heart widens as you take in the beauty of the world that exists around you in all directions,
Valleys and trees,
Springs,
Lakes,
Rivers.
You are witnessing the world from this heightened perspective now.
Just taking it all in,
Feeling the gentle breeze against your skin,
And remembering your intention for taking this journey in the first place.
To release what no longer serves you,
To release negativity,
And to let the winds of change propel you forward.
Standing here at the top of this mountain,
You are able to release any negativity,
Exchange negative emotions for positive ones,
Negative thoughts for positive ones,
Breath by breath,
Releasing every thought.
Breath by breath,
Releasing every feeling,
Every negative energy that holds you back,
Every fear,
Every doubt.
The wind just carries it away,
Leaving you with each breath more vibrant and more alive.
Let your awareness land in the center of your heart,
And silently set your intention to nourish yourself with these positive thoughts,
Positive energies in the minutes and hours and the days to come.
Take one more long,
Deep breath here,
And when you release,
Let go of any residual negative energy,
Letting it out,
And then returning your breath to its natural rhythm.
Tune into the ground beneath you that is supporting you.
And we'll close this practice just by allowing ourselves to receive the last bit of this healing energy,
Allowing it to circle us,
Cleansing our aura,
Infuse every cell,
Every tissue,
Every organ,
And then wiggling the fingertips will start to come out of this practice.
You can slowly,
Slowly start to move your wrists,
Your ankles,
Move your head side to side,
And when you feel ready to,
Blink the eyes open.
