Welcome.
Come into stillness.
Taking a comfortable cross-legged seat.
Resting your hands at your knees.
Closing your eyes.
And taking your attention inward.
Take a deep slow breath in.
Open your mouth.
Let it go.
Take a deep slow breath in.
And open your mouth.
Let it go.
Now breathing easily and gently through your nose.
Aware of being here.
Making yourself at home in this moment with this breath.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Just attaching your awareness to the pathway of breath through your nostrils.
Slowing down the inhales and the exhales.
Slowing down the mind.
Feeling your physical body take a moment to downshift from wherever it's been and whatever it's been doing to the practice of meditation to this stillness.
Feel your physical body releasing and letting go of tension.
Feel your mind unwinding from all the pain and the pain of the past.
Winding from all the busy thoughts and chitter chatter.
Consciously releasing and letting go and watching this take place in this moment.
Feel yourself here.
Feel yourself arriving.
Feel this quality of presence rising in your body,
In your mind.
Inhale deeply again and feel your lungs expand.
Holding your breath for a moment at the top,
Feeling that fullness,
Your chest broad,
Your belly extended.
And then exhale and release.
All the breath all the way out.
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
And then repeating that.
A nice full breath in all the way to the top.
Feeling this expansion of breath.
Having a quality of presence attached to this inhale,
To this air in your lungs.
And then just let it all go.
Now let your breath just return to some natural rhythm that feels comfortable.
Relaxing with this inflow of breath,
Relaxing with this outflow of breath.
Inviting in more and more ease.
Just noticing.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
We'll move into a meditation for invoking reiki energy,
Divine energy,
Divine light.
So in this moment,
Just repeating internally after me,
I invoke the light of awareness,
Divine energy to flow now through my crown chakra.
I invoke the light of awareness,
Divine energy flows now through my crown chakra.
It flows into me warm and energizing.
Bathing me in light.
Sense this.
Feel this.
Breathing in love.
Breathing in light.
It moves into every cell,
Into every organ,
Into every inch of my body.
Receiving.
Opening.
As you breathe and you allow this pure flowing energy to absorb into your body.
Know that you are the receiver and the facilitator of this energy.
And that by intention alone,
You can direct your healing.
Place your attention on a specific place or align energetically with this energy for healing,
For balancing,
For re-aligning.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Be conscious of your lungs filling with air,
Causing your abdomen to expand and to rise.
And as you exhale,
Soften,
Relax.
Breathing in,
Imagining a white light energy source entering your crown chakra and filling every cell in your body with this white luminescent energy.
And exhaling,
Releasing any tension that may exist in the body,
Releasing pain,
Stress,
Worry,
Letting it all go.
So with your in-breath,
In comes source energy renewing,
Healing,
Invigorating.
And with the out-breath,
Release,
Releasing fears,
Worries,
Any type of negativity.
And mentally repeating to yourself,
I open myself to divine love and wisdom.
And just for today,
Don't move towards anger or worry and I am filled with gratitude.
I am devoted to my work and I am kind to all living beings.
Bringing your hands together in front of your heart.
Praying these words to your heart.
Just for today,
I let go of anger.
Just for today,
I let go of worry.
Just for today,
I count my many,
Many blessings.
Just for today,
I do my work honestly.
And just for today,
I will be kind to all living things.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feel free to sit in this energy of reiki,
This ocean of reiki,
Flowing in and flowing out,
Healing you,
Balancing you,
Rejuvenating you on every level of your being.
For as long as you feel like it's right,
When you feel like this process is complete,
Make your way off your mat,
Off your meditation stool or seat,
And into your day.
Returning to this meditation anytime you need balancing.
