Welcome to your deep sleep guided meditation.

Take your time to find a comfortable,

Restful position.

As I guide you through this meditation,

Allow yourself to move freely until you can find stillness.

Begin with three slow deep breaths,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

And as you inhale,

Repeat to yourself,

Everything today is done.

As you exhale,

Everything else can wait.

And now start to scan your body,

Search for places of tension,

And as you inhale,

Send your breath to those places.

And as you exhale,

Allow the breath to soften the body.

Let muscles soften from bones,

And bones rest heavy.

Let go of the weight of your head,

Release your jaw,

Tongue soft in your mouth,

Lips can part,

Eyes heavy in their sockets,

And smooth your brow.

Each breath softening and melting.

With deep rest we are able to process and prepare for tomorrow.

It's natural for thoughts to arise as we are drifting off to sleep,

But let your breath guide you.

Each exhale carrying the echoes of the day as they dissolve into the night air.

Feel your body and mind begin to unwind.

Feel the places your body makes contact with the bed,

The weight of your resting body,

And the warmth beneath the sheets,

Breath moving like waves,

In and out of the lungs,

Calm rhythmic waves washing over you.

Inhale the night air,

Cool as it travels in through the nose,

And warm as it leaves.

Feel how your body moves with your breath,

How soothing the breath is,

Naturally the breath will slow down as you relax,

Let go of any need to control it.

Allow yourself to be passive,

Surrender,

Sleep will come in time,

Enjoy melting into rest,

And trust that soon you will drift away.
