Our Throat Energy Centre can be stimulated to invigorate us on days that we feel depleted. This short vocalization session will lead you through different humming frequencies to energize your whole body. This is meant to be done on the go, so follow along on a walk, at work, in your car, as needed.

Hi everyone,

We're going to be using our voice today to stimulate our throat energy center to give ourselves a little pick-me-up to keep going and feel a little better throughout our day.

So this is great to be pretty quick,

So just follow along wherever you are and with whatever you're currently doing.

That could mean that you're doing it while you're out on your walk or driving in your car,

Sitting at home.

Just follow along with my cues and let's feel a little bit more energized today.

Okay,

Let's start with one big deep clearing breath in,

Hold it,

And out.

Two more,

Breathe in,

Hold,

Breathe out.

Last one,

Hold it.

Now we're going to be doing a series of humming,

So just follow my cues in terms of the frequency or how deep and low in your chest you're going to be humming versus higher up into your nasal cavity.

So we're going to start humming pretty low into our chest and you want your lips closed while you're humming for these next few ones.

Take a deep breath in,

And now let's hum low into our chest.

Breathe in,

Again hum low.

One more,

Very good.

Now we're going to be humming with our lips open.

If you want you can keep your lips closed because it does make it a little quieter if you're out and about,

But let's try to have our lips open to project the noise a little bit more and you want to aim to feel the vibrations of your humming more in the middle of your throat.

Let's take a deep breath in,

Breathe in again,

One more,

Very good.

I hope that you're already feeling your body expanding a bit more with some energy or you have a bit more pep in your step.

We're going to do one more series of humming,

This time we're going to do eight of them and you're going to really try to aim for the sound to hit high up into your nasal cavity with your lips open.

All right,

Let's start.

So deep breath in,

Seven to go,

Breath in,

Ha,

Breath in,

Okay we're halfway,

Let's keep going.

Breath in,

Ha,

Two more,

Last one,

Very good.

We're almost done,

We're going to do one last humming and we're going to try to go pretty high in our frequency and hopefully you can feel the vibrations at the crown of your head.

Not everyone is very good at hitting those notes,

Don't be embarrassed,

We're literally just doing it to try to reach the crown of our head.

So let's take a deep breath in,

Okay we're all done.
