Hi everyone.
Abandonment can leave a hollow hole in our hearts.
The kind of hole that a haunting wind blows through.
That cold wind can reverberate through the chambers of our hearts like hungry ghosts,
Whispering things that are simply not true.
It says things like no one likes you.
Everyone will leave you.
There's something wrong with you.
These echoes are damaging to an already wounded heart.
When we walk the world with this kind of deep wounding,
The Great Mother weeps for us and wishes to comfort us.
Let us journey inward together to meet the Great Mother.
Whether you picture her as Earth Mother,
Mother Mary,
Gaia,
Or simply she who holds me it does not matter.
Just simply know that she's always there and all we need to do is to be still and open to the nurturing feminine to begin hearing her voice.
Rest comfortably in a chair or lie down.
You can cross your arms across your chest giving yourself a gentle hug.
Close your eyes if you're comfortable or simply let them go out of focus.
Let us take three deep breaths together,
Releasing them in a sigh.
As you open your mind's eye,
You find yourself in a beautiful garden.
Lush soft grasses and clover carpet the ground under your feet.
You can hear the trill of birds from nearby trees.
You hear the buzz of bees.
They draw you towards some fruit trees with brightly colored bounty glistening in the sunlight.
You pull one of the ripe fruits off,
Biting into it,
Tasting sweetness as the juices run down your chin.
You smile and begin to explore the garden.
Swaths of color greet your eye from every direction as well as a fragrant breeze.
You see a pond with lily pads and you cross over its ornamental bridge.
Soon you hear a whimsical singing,
It is light and tinkling.
When you come around the bend of a weeping willow drinking at the pond's edge,
You see the great mother just beyond tending wounded animals.
She smiles and sings to them softly as she binds up their wee bumps and bruises.
She looks up at you standing shyly next to the willow and she beckons you forward with the calm curve of her palm.
With her gentle gesture,
You know she wishes to help you too.
She places her palm over your heart and hums and you can feel a warm healing light under your heart.
You let the feeling wash over you and soothe you.
When she is done,
She strokes your hair and cheek tenderly and offers you some sage advice and you listen for a time knowing that it's just what you need to hear,
Letting her warm words wash over you and heal you.
Okay.
You you you you before wishing you farewell she tells you that you are welcome anytime within her garden you wave goodbye and hear her begin to sing again as you pass the willow and cross the ornamental bridge over the pond you walk back through the heady smelling flowers and pass the orchard trees to the long soft grasses of fragrant clover you lay down in their soft grass and take a few deep breaths finally you close your inner eye and bring your attention slowly back to the room noticing the temperature of the air on your skin any ambient noises around you you can wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes if you haven't already I hope this was of some small help to you sending you love,
Light and healing for your mending heart as always the divine in me bows to the divine in you namaste you
