Hello everyone,
A fear of missing out can be so paralyzing,
It can fill us with deep seeded emotional and mental pain.
This meditation is an introspective,
Gentle reminder that there is nothing you are actually missing out on,
So just closing your eyes if you already haven't,
Stretching your body a little if you wish,
Moving it around,
Getting comfortable in this moment.
If you feel any tightness,
Just sinking into the surface you were on,
Letting go.
For the next few moments,
We are going to be gentle on ourselves,
Connecting back in with what we have right now,
Right here.
Noticing your body,
Notice the subtle sensations that are happening here.
What I mean by sensations are them physical feelings inside of you,
It may be random muscle twitching,
The sense of lightness or comfort,
A pressure feeling within your chest,
There may be many sensations going on at once,
They could be subtle,
Or they could be quite strong,
Notice,
That's all.
We are not trying to change anything,
We are just noticing,
Allowing the body to do what it does best,
Digest,
Breathe,
Regulate,
Constantly bringing things back into balance.
All these processes are a mixture of many different sensations,
From comfort to discomfort,
And yet they are here,
Keeping us alive.
Being curious about what is here,
That may be the true thing some people are missing out on,
Our experiences on the inside,
And our unity with these raw experiences.
Feel a bit deeper into the system,
If you are bored,
Feel the sensation of boredom,
Notice this,
This is a true 4D cinematic experience,
Nothing that a cinema can replicate.
If you are excited,
Feel that,
What does that feel like?
Whatever you may be,
Feel that,
Physically notice it.
If you are feeling lonely,
What does that feel like physically?
Tuning into your specifics,
Outside experiences are built on these sensory responses and a mind's reaction to them,
And vice versa.
There's nothing you are missing out on in the outside world,
That isn't already in the inside world.
You are experiencing,
And yet,
To an outsider,
You are still.
You are having your own party here,
Through the art of noticing and feeling,
Through connecting with the reality of your sensations.
Sometimes the mind may want other things that are not currently here,
That's ok,
This may make you feel left out or inferior.
You may compare your current experience to the potential of the other one,
This can make you feel intense sensations.
Notice the sensation it provides in you,
Being curious about it,
Facing it gently,
It can never harm you.
Notice its subtleties,
It may change into a completely different sensation,
It may ebb and flow,
It may come and go,
Just like the experience itself,
Not trying to change anything at all,
There's nothing you can do,
Allowing it to be expressed within this moment.
Now taking a big deep breath in,
And breathing out,
Well done,
That very thing you feel you missed out on,
Led you to this inner experience,
Which may lead you to other exciting and enriching experiences within the future.
Remember,
You are not stuck,
You have everything you need,
Just moving your body around as you come back to the world,
Stretching it,
If you wish you can stay here,
Or opening your eyes as this meditation ends,
You are now ready to face your moment,
Not anybody else's,
Yours.
Take care of yourself,
And thank you for listening,
Come back whenever you wish,
I will be here for you,
Bye for now.
