Welcome to the whisper of stillness.
This short meditation will guide you to connect with the quiet space within,
Allowing you to pause,
To breathe and to center yourself in a few short minutes.
So begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
If it's comfortable for you,
You can close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
And let that breath out slowly through your mouth.
As you continue to breathe in through your nose,
And out through your mouth,
Allow your body to settle into this moment.
Feel the surface supporting you and grounding you.
As you breathe,
Imagine a soft,
Warm light glowing at the center of your chest.
With each inhale,
This light expands gently,
And with each exhale,
It soothes and calms you.
Now tune in to the quiet space between your breaths,
The moment where stillness whispers.
Notice the pause between inhale and exhale,
And stay with that pause between inhale and exhale for just a moment.
There's nothing you need to do and nowhere you need to be.
As you move closer toward this stillness,
Allow the stillness to spread throughout your body,
Softening your shoulders,
Your face.
If your mind wanders,
Gently return to the pause between your breaths,
Trusting the whisper of stillness to bring you back to center.
Taking one more deep breath in,
Filling your body with this quiet,
Calm,
And exhale fully.
Whenever you feel ready,
Opening your eyes and carrying this stillness with you into your day.
