Hi,
I'm Pip Roberts and this is a short and sweet yoga nidra practice for you.
Come lay down on your back.
Give yourself a moment to learn.
Open out to a full and soft breath coming in.
And then when it's ready to leave,
Let it out with a sigh,
Maybe a sound.
Allow whatever is underneath you to hold your weight completely.
You have nowhere to be.
But here and now.
Bring your awareness to the centre of your chest,
To the heart space.
Allow yourself to breathe gently into that space.
It's here we're going to plant our intention like a seed.
Repeat it with full feeling three times.
I am.
We're going to move our awareness through the body,
Resting briefly at each point.
No expectations.
Simple awareness of what is.
Finding awareness of the whole of the head.
Awareness of the whole of the neck.
Awareness of the whole of the torso.
Both arms from the very top to the tips of the fingers.
And of both legs from the very top to the tips of the toes.
The whole body all at once.
Every part of you.
Full and present awareness.
Then we return once more to the heart.
And as we repeat that intention again three times.
Feel into the truth of it.
I am.
I am.
Once more,
Your breath finds a fuller and softer way through.
Perhaps the movement that arrives with that also instigates other movements through the body.
Notice any sounds nearby.
The temperature of the air.
And when you're ready,
Roll over to one side.
And take a moment there before coming up.
Thank you for practicing with me.
See you soon.
