When we dream of dark men or women who turn us into victims, this picture of darkness may be showing us the emotions and belief systems operating within us. The “bad” person can represent the ways we may be treating ourselves — for example, by being too judgmental. These negative energies — symbolized by the dark figure — cannot be destroyed. Remember: What we fight often gets bigger. The good news is that they can be transformed. When we take the precious information from our dreams and go back there in our imagination, we can begin to change it. By facing the dark figure, we may discover a deeper sense of strength within ourselves. We then become more able to recognize negative energies in our daily lives and either give them to the Creator/Amma, transform them, or simply witness them.
