It was no less a figure than Einstein who said that if you want to raise intelligent kids,

Have them read fairy tales.

So the funny thing is I had a pal growing up who was born into a very intellectual family.

And in their basement they had the books of knowledge which came out after the war.

And they were at that time the last word in encyclopedias.

So she would read to pick up these books from the basement and bring them up to her bedroom and read long past her bedtime.

And this was understood by the parents.

They kind of didn't go after her because they were so pleased she was reading the books of knowledge.

Getting all the facts of the encyclopedia in her brain.

And the joke is she was reading the fairy tales and she read them until she was about 12.

And then puberty hit.

But this woman has a very high developed,

Highly sensitive,

Intuitive intelligence.

Way more so than her siblings.

And I'm wondering if it's like the fairy tales or you know it's the chicken and the egg which came first.

But because the fairy tales speak of really what our life experience is like.

I feel you know like we go into dark forests sometimes.

There's you know friendly females who come along who maybe want to put us in the oven.

But other friendly females who are like fairy godmothers and they've got a magic quality.

And you know the fool who's just has a good heart you know triumphs in the end.

And the you know that heroine who's or the heroine heroine who are serving something more than themselves.

They get helped out by the elves and other you know figures that mirror really what goes on in us in our subconscious.

We get a lot of subconscious help for our goals.

So I mean I'm you know I think fairy tales should be you know reinstated.

I think we're like throwing the baby out with the bath water by downplaying the importance of these things.

Okay bless your heart.

I love fairy tales. It always seems we root for the underdog/sincere hearted person in these adventures but then in real life it is often said or taught that it is not practical to follow the glimmerings of one’s heart. Such a contrast in messaging...Perhaps an overhaul of our school system is needed to teach more fairy tales in schools! ❤️🙏 deep thanks as always xoxoxo
