Take a deep breath. Let all the noise drift away. Let's clock out and tune in. Here's affirmations for codependency recovery part one. We live in a society that glorifies, Celebrates, And rewards codependency. To take steps towards unlearning society's faults, Today's guided affirmations are for victims and survivors of narcissistic abuse, Including those who have the tendency to people please or struggle with any form of codependency. I am not responsible for other people's feelings. I let others stuff roll off of me. I cannot help everyone. I don't have all the answers. Not every problem has a solution. I'm not here to keep the peace. I am here to keep my peace. I am not here to avoid conflict. Sometimes healthy conflict is needed to resolve an issue. When there is conflict, I don't react. I consciously respond. I am not the mediator for everyone else's fights. I am not the fixer for everyone else's problems. I have problems of my own to tend to. And fixing other people's problems does not equal love. I am only responsible for me. I can only be responsible for me, My feelings, And my actions. I will help others when I can. Because being useful does not equal love. Being useful is not a measure of my worthiness. I know my worth. I know that I am enough just as I am. I am enough without being useful. I am more than enough. Even when I have no idea how to help. I am more than enough. Even when I can't fix someone or something. It is not my place to fix someone else. People are people. They are meant to be fixed. They don't need to be fixed. I will not overgive. I will give where and when it's appropriate. I will give just enough. I will not over-apologize. I will apologize when it's appropriate. I will not apologize for other people's wrongdoings. I will not enable other people's wrongdoings. I am no longer doing the work for other people. I'm no longer doing the emotional labor for other people. I will no longer take on the duties and responsibilities of other people. I will not enable codependency anymore. I will not participate in it anymore. Because I am in codependency recovery. Well that is it for today's episode. Here's to choosing you, Beloved. Here's to working on yourself and your healing.
