Welcome.
To the waterfall meditation.
Releasing what is not yours.
Find a comfortable seat.
Find a comfortable place to lie down.
A place where your body is supported.
That there is nothing.
That you need to hold on to.
And that you feel safe enough.
To close your eyes down gently.
Take a slow breath.
In through the nose and a long gentle sigh out.
Again.
Inhale softly.
And exhale.
Letting the day melt away.
Allow yourself to bring your awareness to your body.
Feeling into the weight of your hips.
Your legs.
And your shoulders softening.
Unclench your jaw.
Soften your tongue.
And let your body be natural.
You are safe to land here.
And as you gently breathe in and out.
Allow your body to grow heavier.
And heavier.
This is your time for you.
Chimpy,
Bring your awareness.
To the space of your third eye.
Which is in between your eyebrows.
And allow.
A beautiful scene of nature to arrive.
It may have beautiful majestic rainforest trees.
Or a forest.
Somewhere where you feel totally at ease.
And take a moment to notice the sounds.
May notice the birds.
Oh.
The trees gently blowing in the wind.
And even possibly the breeze across your face.
Take your time.
This beautiful natural space,
Maybe a place you've been to before.
Or not.
And as you walk.
In this beautiful natural space.
Notice the air is fresh.
And there is a beautiful gentle mist on your skin.
And you notice in front of you.
A beautiful flowing waterfall.
You can even hear the sound of the waterfall.
This waterfall is ancient.
Wise and loving.
The gift of the water element.
To support you in letting things go.
It is here for you.
You may even notice the smell of that fresh water.
End of the earth.
You gently start to walk.
Into the shallow waters of the waterfall.
Step by step.
You feel the ground beneath you that is safe and sturdy.
You walk up to this beautiful ancient waterfall.
And you allow yourself.
And have the water.
Cascading over the crown of your head.
Down your face.
Your name.
All the way down your shoulders and flowing down through your arms through your heart.
Your belly.
Your hips and your legs.
All the way into the earth.
And as this refreshing water flows over you.
It begins to wash away.
Anything that is not yours to carry.
Other people's emotions.
Expectations.
Pressure.
Old stories,
Outdated stories.
Let it all rinse away.
You do not need to name it.
And you do not need to hold on to it.
Just let the water Take it.
You may see it.
As gentle mud or stains being washed away from your body.
Feel it dissolving.
Fall in from your body.
And returning to the earth.
Take your time.
There is no rush.
And if there is nothing that feels like it needs to be released.
Just simply enjoy the beautiful refreshing waterfall on your skin,
On your body.
Hmmmm.
.
.
And now gently bring your awareness to your belly.
Your agony,
Your inner fire.
Notice as the water clears what is not yours.
Your inner fire becomes steady.
Calm and nourished.
Not overwhelmed.
Not depleted.
Just gently glowing.
This is your truth.
Your energy.
Your center.
And if it feels right for you.
You can softly say and whisper to yourself.
I release what is not mine.
I return to myself.
My energy is my own.
And if there's any other intuitive words.
That feel right for you.
Allowed these words to also surface.
And then let these words settle into your body.
You may like to put a hand on your heart.
And a hand on the belly.
Knowing that you are connected to your heart.
In your belly,
Your inner fire.
And the truth of who you are.
Bye.
When you are ready.
And only when you're ready.
Gently start to walk.
Out from the waterfall.
Take a slow breath in and a long sigh out.
And if you need to do a little shade.
Please feel free to do so.
And notice how your body is feeling now.
Softer.
Mira.
And more you.
You Just take a moment to really notice and feel the sensations in your body.
You are coming home to you,
All of beautiful you.
Take a slow breath in again and a long exhale,
Sigh out.
Gently wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Have a most glorious stretch and yawn.
And when it feels right gently open your eyes.
And if it feels right,
Take a sip of water or a nice warm cup of tea.
And if you have some paper.
Please feel free to jot down some words or images.
And take your time,
Beautiful friends.
Welcome to coming home.
