Hello and welcome to the SS meditation.
I am your captain,
Captain Ryan.
And today we are traveling to the planet Mars.
Get into your seat or maybe you want to lie down on the floor.
Wherever you choose to travel today,
Get into your most comfortable position.
Maybe you bring your hands towards your heart.
Maybe you let them lay by your side.
Now we need to take special breaths to prepare for our launch.
So maybe closing your eyes,
Breathe in through your nose.
And breathe out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose.
Breathe out through your mouth.
One more time.
In through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
This is your space helmet breath.
We're going to be using this today when we arrive at the planet Mars.
Buckle up.
Here we go.
You can begin to feel the spaceship moving.
The SS meditation is preparing for launch.
We can feel the rumbles.
And we are off.
Starting to glide into the atmosphere.
Maybe you start to feel your feet getting light.
Your legs becoming light.
Your hips and body all beginning to float.
Doesn't that feel peaceful?
Keeping your eyes closed,
Can you see your house now?
You're flying way above your house.
Can you see our moon?
What else is floating around in space near us?
Way in the distance,
Do you see that red dot?
That is the planet Mars.
We're going there today.
As we start to approach the planet of Mars,
I want you to learn a few things about how to say a mantra that prepares us for entering the atmosphere of Mars.
Now this mantra is just some words that we use to clear the air,
Clear the energy,
And to get connected to our body.
Bringing the hands towards your heart.
I want you just to say to yourself,
I feel safe.
I feel safe.
I feel safe.
As you say these words,
Maybe can you see the color red behind your eyes?
This color is the color of your root chakra.
It's the same color as the planet Mars.
Anytime you feel that you're not feeling as safe as you normally would,
You can close your eyes,
Look for the color red,
And say to yourself,
I feel safe.
I feel safe.
Now we're starting to approach the planet of Mars as we come into the atmosphere.
What do you see?
Red mountains?
So do I.
Deep,
Deep craters.
And over there,
That is the Mars Rover.
It's like a little robot that's collecting samples on the planet of Mars.
Let's go land near there.
Now before we get out of the SS meditation,
We need to put on our space helmets.
Put your space helmet on.
And remember our special breath.
Breathing in through your nose.
And breathing out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose.
Out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Now using our mantra to open the door,
Bring your hands to your heart.
I feel safe.
And the door opens.
Let's walk around on the planet and see what we can see.
It looks really dusty,
Doesn't it?
I can see on the very,
Very horizon,
Mountains.
Let's start to walk that way.
Each step we take,
We can see our footprints.
Can you see yours?
As we walk along,
Can you feel your foot pressed into the dirt,
Feeling connected to your body?
Trusting each movement you make.
You can follow me.
I won't get us lost.
I have a map.
Each step I take,
I feel as though I'm grounded in my space suit.
Breathing my space breath and looking at the horizon,
I see something.
It looks like a dust storm.
Mars is very notorious for having some of the worst dust storms that cover almost part of the planet.
Where we can't see,
We should turn around and get back to the SS meditation.
But instead of us getting worried,
Let's just close our eyes,
Bring our hands to our heart and repeat our mantra.
I feel safe.
I feel safe.
I feel safe.
Slowly,
Following our footprints all the way back,
I can now see the SS meditation.
Let's get inside and take off our space helmets.
Closing the door behind us,
We can look out the window and see the dust storm just missing our rocket ship.
We were safe.
There was no need to worry.
Let's take this example back to Earth.
But wait,
Let's take one space rock with us.
Open the door,
Grab a rock.
Okay,
Now let's go.
The spaceship is taking off and zooming back to planet Earth.
Can you see the country that you live in?
What about the state?
Let's go fly past your school.
Let's zoom past the playground.
Now let's take you home.
Safe and sound.
Let's land in your front yard.
You can wave at your family.
And slowly,
Here we go,
We're landing.
Thank you for riding on the SS meditation today.
I'm glad that we could visit Mars.
That was a lot of fun.
You can tell your friends and your family all about your trip to the great red planet.
You can tell them that you felt safe,
That you felt connected to your body and deeply rooted and how you were able to overcome any fears that may have come up.
Thank you for joining me,
Captain Ryan,
On this journey today.
Have a good day.
Bye.
