Find a position that feels natural for your body.
You do not need to arrange yourself in a certain way or hold any particular posture.
Let the body settle as it wants to,
Trusting that it already knows how to rest when given the chance.
Bring your attention gently to your breath.
Not to control it or improve it.
Just to notice that it is happening.
The breath moves in.
The breath moves out.
Even if it feels shallow or uneven,
It is enough.
You do not need to intervene.
Take a moment to notice how it feels to simply being here.
Not as someone working on themselves or trying to reach a better state,
But as you are right now.
This moment does not require adjustment.
It does not need to be different before you can rest inside it.
Many of us carry a quiet sense that something needs fixing.
A feeling that we should be calmer,
Clearer,
More healed,
More certain.
See if you can let that idea soften for a few moments.
Not by arguing with it,
But by settling it down.
You are allowed to pause the project of self-improvement here.
Let your awareness move through the body.
Notice areas of ease and areas of tension,
Without labeling either as a problem.
Sensations do not need to be resolved.
They are simply information,
Moving and changing in their own time.
Feel the support beneath you.
The steadiness of the surface holding your weight.
You do not have to hold yourself up right now.
You can let that support do its work.
Sometimes the body relaxes not because we tell it to,
But because it senses that it does not have to stay braced.
If thoughts arise about what you should be doing later or how you should be feeling now,
You can acknowledge them gently and let them pass.
You are not required to engage with every thought.
You can let the mind move in the background while you stay connected to this simple experience of being here.
Notice how much effort it takes to simply exist in this moment.
Very little.
Your heart is beating without instruction.
Your breath continues without supervision.
Life is unfolding through you without needing to be managed.
See if you can rest in that.
The sense that something deeper is already functioning,
Already carrying you.
You do not need to fix yourself in order to belong to this moment.
You are already included.
If there is discomfort,
You do not need to push it away.
If there is ease,
You do not need to cling to it.
Both can be present without becoming tasks.
There is nothing here that requires correction.
Allow yourself to experience what it feels like when nothing is being asked of you.
When you are not trying to improve,
Explain or justify yourself.
Just being.
Just breathing.
Just supported.
Stay with this simplicity for a few breaths.
Let the nervous system settle in its own,
Quiet way.
Not because it has been instructed to calm down,
But because it senses that it does not need to stay alert.
As this meditation begins to come to a close,
Take your time.
There is no rush to transition.
Whatever state you are in is fine.
You can carry this sense of enoughness with you into the rest of your day,
Or allow it to deepen into rest.
There is nothing to fix.
And for this moment,
That is enough.
Thank you.
