Chapter 2.
I am not the body.
I am not the mind.
I am not the body.
I am not the mind.
There is a silent observer in all of us.
There is something that is watching your thoughts and actions and it is happening from the inside.
If you can hear yourself thinking,
Then ask yourself,
Who is listening to these thoughts?
Throughout the years,
The body and mind will change.
The mind can receive new information and start to think differently.
The body will go through changes throughout the life cycle.
Throughout the different changes,
You are still you.
There is something in you that has been consistently there your whole life.
If you lose an arm,
Leg,
Or some other part of your body,
You are still whole.
If your mind starts to deteriorate,
You are still whole.
You are an unwavering consciousness that continues on,
Even after your body has left the earth.
You are one with everything.
It could be said,
You are both the body and the mind,
And yet neither at the same time.
Sit quietly and observe the parts of you that are alive.
Notice them and find the joy in knowing that they are there.
Do not hold onto them.
They only need to be acknowledged.
I am not the body.
I am not the mind.
