Hello and welcome.
This is a grounding meditation.
So sit comfortably or stand and just begin to notice your feet,
Wiggling your toes.
Feel them against whatever texture they're resting upon as you move them.
Just notice their relationship to the ground and then see if you can press a little bit into the ground to feel the resistance,
To feel the solidness that meets your feet.
And as you do,
Notice what happens in the rest of your body,
Letting your feet rest upon the ground.
Feel their connection to the earth,
Whatever surface is supporting them,
Just imagining that roots can grow out from the bottoms of your feet all the way to the earth,
Under the concrete.
Just noticing that connection as you imagine those roots growing down,
Again noticing the impact in the rest of your body.
Does something soften or let go or unwind?
Where else do I feel that sense of ground or solidness in my body?
Notice how you're feeling overall.
Again,
Wiggling those toes,
Just seeing if they feel different.
Noticing your whole lower half and then that connection to the whole body and taking this space that you've just made out into the world.
