This somatic practice will help you to affirm your own personal boundaries and your personal space.
So you can do this seated or standing up.
And just start to move your arms around you.
No particular way,
But as though you're moving through thick water.
So maybe your arms move out in front of you,
Maybe in a swimming motion.
Maybe they go behind you,
Maybe they go out to the side,
Maybe they go up to the sky.
But it's often said that our aura stretches about three feet all around us.
It's more or less the length of our arms.
So just exploring this space that is around you with your arms moving slowly,
Just feeling it as though you're moving through thick water.
And then just affirming to yourself either in your mind or out loud,
This is my space.

This is my energetic boundary.

Moving your arms,
Really feeling these words as you either repeat them in your mind or out loud.
I am in charge of what comes into my space.
I am in charge of what comes in to my space.

Feeling your feet or your bum planted firmly onto the ground,
The earth,
Chair.
Moving your arms,
Just exploring this space around you,
Your space.
This is my space.
These are my boundaries.
I am in charge of what comes into my space.
So just allow your arms to soften.
Feel the connection of your body to earth,
Earth to body.
And just feeling the resonance of that practice.
Feel the resonance of the words you just spoke.
And know that you can keep coming back to this practice at any time you need to reaffirm your own personal space and boundaries.
