As you lie there,
Just close your eyes.
And as you do,
Take a deep breath in and on the out breath,
Just release everything that doesn't need to be in this space.
Take another deep breath in and on the out breath,
Just release everything that doesn't need to be in this space.
And allow your breathing to fall into its natural rhythm.
Every in breath relaxing you more and more.
And every out breath just releasing everything that doesn't need to be in this space.
And I want you to think about relaxing your whole body.
But when you start to think about relaxing your whole body,
Your body will relax.
Give your body permission yourself to relax.
And as you do so,
You will relax the whole of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes,
All the way down your arms to your fingertips.
Your body is so relaxed.
And I want you to see,
Feel,
Imagine,
Or know a beautiful golden light above your head.
It's a beautiful golden light of peace and relaxation.
And just allow this beautiful golden light to move into your aura,
Into that space around you.
And as it does so,
Just feel it move into your physical body.
Feel it filling up your body with this beautiful golden relaxing light,
Moving into every cell and every membrane of your body.
This beautiful golden relaxing light just soothing and relaxing your whole body.
And I want you now to take your attention to the top of your head.
That's right,
Just take the attention to the top of your head.
And just think about relaxing the top of your head.
Feel it relax.
And as you feel it relax,
Think about relaxing the whole of your head.
Feel it relax.
Think about relaxing your forehead.
Feel it relax.
Think about relaxing your temples.
Feel them relax.
Think about relaxing your eyes.
Feel your eyes relaxing and your eyelids getting so heavy.
Think about relaxing your ears and feel your ears start to relax.
Think about relaxing your cheeks.
Feel them relax.
Think about relaxing your nose.
Feel your nose relaxing.
Think about relaxing your mouth.
And feel your mouth relaxing.
Think about relaxing your jaw.
And just feel your jaw relaxing.
You may be inclined to just move your mouth apart and let your tongue settle gently and easily.
Think about relaxing your neck.
And as you do,
Just feel all your neck muscles start to relax.
Your throat muscle relaxing.
Think about relaxing your shoulders.
Allow and feel them to relax.
Just imagine this warm sunshine.
Just massage in and relax in your shoulders.
And it feels so wonderful and relaxed.
Think about relaxing your arms.
And just feel your upper arms,
Your elbows,
Your lower arms,
Your wrists,
Your hands,
And your fingers to relax.
Feel them relaxing.
And just think about relaxing your whole upper body.
Just think about relaxing your chest muscles.
And as you do,
Just feel them relax.
Think about relaxing your stomach muscles.
Feel them relax.
Think about relaxing the whole of your back.
Feel your back relaxing.
Think about relaxing your spine.
Think about relaxing your spine.
And feel it relaxing vertebrae by vertebrae by vertebrae.
Think about relaxing your hips.
And as you do so,
Feel them relax.
Think about relaxing your pelvis.
And feel it relax.
Think about relaxing your buttocks.
Feel them relax.
Allow them to sink you down deeper and deeper into where you are lying.
Think about relaxing your thighs.
And feel them relax.
Feel your knees relax.
Feel your shins and your calves relax.
Feel your ankles relax.
Feel the heels of your feet relaxing.
Feel your feet relaxing.
And your toes relaxing.
How wonderful it feels that your whole body is so relaxed.
And I want you now to see if you'll imagine a beautiful staircase.
A staircase with 20 wide,
Safe,
Comfortable steps.
And imagine a beautiful staircase.
And imagine a beautiful staircase with 20 wide,
Safe,
Comfortable steps.
Leading down to the most beautiful place.
A place with our imaginary,
Where you can be totally relaxed.
So get ready now,
Walking down the stairs,

Deeper down the stairs,

More and more relax.
Deeper down the stairs,

Deeper down the stairs,

Deeper down the stairs,

More and more relaxed.

All the way down the stairs one.
And you take a step off that bottom step and you find yourself in the most beautiful place,
Real or imaginary,
Where you are the most relaxed,
The most safest you can ever be.
And I'll just give you a moment to explore this place,
Get a sense of where it is,
What is there,
The beautiful colors or scents,
The softness,
The comfortness,
The safety and the security.
Just get a sense and experience that now.
Now I want you to settle down in that space,
Just settle down there.
And as you do,
You notice that there's a beautiful,
Beautiful rainbow of the most beautiful colors you have ever seen.
And as you look at this rainbow,
You know that you can give it all your cares,
Your worries,
Anything that is causing you issues or sleeplessness,
Anything that keeps your mind active,
You're now going to release it all into this rainbow.
So just allow all of these thoughts,
These feelings,
These emotions,
These thoughts,
These feelings,
These emotions that unsettle you and keep you from sleeping.
And just give them to this beautiful rainbow.
And I'll leave you for a moment or two whilst you do this.
And you find as you give each worry,
Situation or thought to this rainbow,
That it gets a little brighter as it starts to transmute it,
Transmute it.
And you notice that you can give each worry,
Situation or thought to this rainbow,
That it gets a little brighter as it starts to transmute it,
Transmute it into something positive or just to fade it away into nothingness so that it no longer disturbs you,
Allows you the peace to sleep deeply,
Deeply and refreshingly.
That's right,
Just give all these emotions,
These thoughts to this rainbow and watch it getting brighter and brighter.
And as you do,
You find yourself getting sleep here and sleep here,
Beautifully sleep here,
More and more relaxed.
As the rainbow gets brighter and brighter,
A sense of peace and calmness surrounds you as you drift deeper and deeper into sleep,
Deeper and deeper into the most relaxing sleep you've had for a very long time.
And you're going to sleep so deeply until your alarm goes off.
When your alarm goes off,
You'll be fully present feeling refreshed and wonderful after a beautiful deep sleep,
Ready to face the day without a care in the world.
And any situations or issues will not bother you for you've completely cleared them away or turned them into positive energy.
And if by some chance a niggling thought or feeling still exists,
You'll remember that beautiful rainbow.
And you'll give that niggling thought or feeling to that rainbow to be transmuted into positivity or to just fade away.
Good night and enjoy your sleep until your alarm goes off and you wake up feeling so relaxed.
