What if you could access a state of calm anytime,

Anywhere?

This four step technique is one I swear by from working with people who want to learn how to relax but don't have much time in their busy lives.

In this guided meditation I'm going to show you step by step how to use this technique to fit more calm into your daily life.

So,

Make sure you're in a safe,

Quiet place,

Not driving or using machinery,

So you can relax.

This isn't medical advice or therapy,

This is about empowering your personal growth.

So,

Make yourself comfortable,

Settle the body and start by making yourself aware of the space you're in,

Your surroundings.

No need to move your head and look around,

Simply be still and just be aware of the space you're in.

Imagine your mind can sense 360 degrees around you.

Be aware of objects,

Shapes,

Colours,

Sounds,

The feeling of being here.

Take a moment to fill the space with your awareness,

Being fully present.

Then close your eyes and focus the boundaries of your awareness inwards,

Towards your body.

Notice how the body feels right now,

Notice the feeling of the surface underneath,

Be aware of the feeling of the air on the skin.

Feel the muscles relaxing,

Face relaxing,

Shoulders relaxing,

Stomach,

Enjoy that pleasant sensation of settling,

Resting.

Then focus your awareness inwards even further,

Notice the breath,

Its gentle rhythm and out.

Notice the peaceful rising and falling of the chest,

Notice the calm movement of the belly,

Feel the waves of breath calmly moving through the body.

Now,

Notice the feeling of the whole body once again,

The muscles relaxed,

The surface underneath,

Then expand your awareness to the sense of the space around you,

The feeling of your body being in that space.

Then open your eyes and bring yourself fully into that space,

Relaxed and knowing that you can confidently use this technique,

Space,

Body,

Breath and back to bring calm into any moment of your day.
