This meditation's purpose is to help us see what's beneath our fear.
Fear can be both a simmering and an explosive emotion.
It can be a pottering around inside of us,
Playing a role in each decision we make.
Fear can also come roaring in the night,
Just as we are about to grow out of our current circumstances.
So let's go on a bit of an exploration.
Closing the eyes and letting in those calm,
Soothing breaths.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feel around inside for some security.
Some space you can create within that feels safe,
Warm and comforting.
Spend time settling in here.
Call to mind the feeling of fear.
Does it have a temperature?
A colour?
A shape?
Let yourself feel it,
While also feeling into your soft,
Warm space.
As we enter into this duality,
Experiencing what it is to sit within our true self,
Your true self,
And also feeling the fear.
In this space,
We can see who is making the decisions.
Our true self,
Or fear.
Let yourself feel the fear.
And now,
Begin to channel it,
Sending it downwards,
Down through the legs,
Through the feet,
Allowing this earth to take the energy.
Feel the earth take the emotion.
And transform it.
Softening its edges,
As you sense it drifting further and further away from you.
Let me begin.

It doesn't belong to you.
This warmth and comfort that is your true self.
That is the seed of who you are.
